  1. Hey Rick why don't you try and trade yours for his? Lol. I'd rather be greedy and own them both! You'd never catch me off the water then! [ Post made via Android ] Somehow I thought that would be your answer!

  3. Thanks Glen and the same to you and your family. Mike.
  4. The word "bump" on a selling ad just puts the ad back to the top of the page. If you see "ttt" in an ad in means virtually the same thing ttt=to the top
  5. Mower would love to buy this boat for winter fishing that's why he is buying some extra lottery tickets on Monday! As a matter of fact I am too! Great boat and very nicely equipped. Good luck on selling her. I'm sure there is a buyer out there who will pull the trigger
  6. I'm looking for a early 90's to around 2000 or so 26-32 ft wide beamed fishing boat. Dual inboards with low to moderate hours on the engines are preferred. I'm looking for something that is fully rigged for salmon and trout fishing....down riggers, washdown, modern higher end electronics, auto pilot, plenty of rod holders etc... I just want to load it with my tackle and be ready to go in the spring. A hard top is preferred, but I have an open mind depending on the boat. I would also like the boat to be able to sleep at least 2-3 comfortably. Amenities such as shore power, battery charger, electric fridge enclosed head with holding tank is much preferred as we plan on staying on the boat on the weekends. A/C would be nice, but not a necessity. I plan on docking the boat in Oswego or Sodus Bay. I'm not looking for any fixer uppers or boats with stringer or transom issues. If you had a 2012 survey on the boat that would possibly suffice, otherwise, the boat would have to pass a satisfactory marine survey. If anyone has such a boat they are trying or willing to sell please PM me with what you have and at what price you are willing to sell. I'm not trying to upset or offend anyone with the next statement, but please don't email if you are asking 10 - 20 grand more than what is fair value for your boat or if the boat is stripped of the fishing equipment I desire. I had a few of these type of responses in the past and I don't want to waste yours or my time. As always, you are entitled to sell your boat for any price you desire, but I'm just stating I won't pay over fair market value. Thanks, Mike.
  7. You might get more interest if you post the year of the boat, electronics and fishing equipment that come with the boat and an asking price. Just throwing that out there too
  8. The price of oil is always rising dramatically regardless of the corn crop. It's a commodity that feeds on speculation and big profits and unless that is severely restricted it won't matter. If this might mean less ethanol then great! I'll trade off an increase in gas prices for non ethanol gas. I do it now. My older machinery is thanking me this year since I have more access to non ethanol fuel and I have saved many dollars in ethanol related repairs compared to past years. There is always a trade off!
  9. But what if you have a boat that can't be trailered to Hanks? It appears to me that anyone in Oswego doesn't have many choices if you can't trailer your boat? Anyone have another solution on what to do for needed repairs for those on the eastern end of the lake.
  10. Count me as one of those that will probably be moving on from Cayuga next year. Fishing this year on Cayuga was some of the worst I have ever seen. If the lampreys are the culprit it will probably take a few years to improve even with treatment. Treatment is no guarantee either with the way the DEC budget has been slashed the last few years. I wouldn't count on it.
  11. I believe it's fake. I'm sure we would have seen some more verifying info by now. Didn't this occur last year with a supposedly world record fish being caught locally? Even the photo doesn't look right? Anyone recognize the background behind the guy holding the fish?
  12. synthectic? Must also be a newer type?
  13. What is synsetic blend oil? Is it some new type?
  14. Mikey and Jon would go!
  15. That's the purpose of a marine survey and why you should never buy a boat until you have a qualified marine surveyor scrutinize it. Most boats that old have stringer and transom issues.
  16. Are these the Made in the USA models?
  17. I'll take it Greg. You have a PM. Thanks.
  18. Hopefully, you took care of business before returning those predators
  19. 20 lb test won't be large enough unless you are using 20 lb cortland flea flicker. Use 30 lb minimum but even 30 lb wasn't stopping them from clinging in Cayuga at times this year. Some guys had to go to 50 lb. Nice paint job on the spoons
  20. Best thing to do is contact the manufacturer of the engine. I'm sure they can set you straight.
  21. "Today rocked...Yesterday bad...Today good fishing"? How could you have 2 todays? Did you turn back time? : Just kidding
