High Seas Gear triple rod holder trees with track mount base. 36” tall with 12” adjustable rod holders. I bought these 4-5 years ago and only used them for two seasons. They do have some scuff marks and light scratches from adjusting the rod holders up or down but good overall shape and 100% functional. $300 shipped to lower 48 or $275 picked up around the Syracuse NY area. I went “old school” tonight. No treestands, no ground blinds, no seat cushion, no backpack with supplies, just my fathers old hand me down, “old faithful” model 37 Ithaca - smooth bore barrel with bead sight and my knife. Spent some time walking and still hunting. Never saw a deer but it was cool to just to change things up and get a different view of things. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Run wires with and without the extra mono leader on end. No issues. If you “break” your rod downs between trips the mono prevents the wire from “pig tailing”. Like I said I have both and run both Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Couldn’t have said it better Rob. I was fortunate enough to have 3 in the freezer which is what my family will eat in a year. I do not have the “drive” that I did earlier in the year. I say I don’t need to go but as I sit home and look outside something tells me I should be in the woods and I feel like Im missing out. I just hung a camera last night on a well worn trail that I’ve seen in an area that will I will hunt late season if I get out Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

This morning was my last sit for the season. In my stand at 645 and at 710 I catch movement behind me in the THICK stuff. I get turned around and all I see is a BIG BODY deer but it appears to be dragging rear leg a bit. I see two tall antlers and that’s it. I watch him for about 5 minutes and could tell something wasn’t quite right with him. I squeezed the trigger and down he goes. One of the larger body sized deer I’ve taken. He had no teeth (1 or 2 ground down) to nothing. Upon closer inspection he was shot before in the rear hip and it exited through his a$&. It looks like this years wound maybe a couple weeks old or so. That explains the dragging of the rear leg Rear leg wound 'Bout Time Mike

Quick sit for me this morning. First 2 minutes in stand I had a fisher run around and stayed for about 5 minutes. Pretty cool To see. About an hour later had a doe with fawn come through. They didn’t like something as they hit the brakes hard and did a big circle back to where they came from. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Hunting in Wayne county. First shots fired at 635 and consistently pretty solid till about 7. This is from the same group of guys who haven’t stepped foot in the woods all year except to maybe place a salt lick .....( always going to be those types of guys ) I just wished it wasn’t near my property. I took my nephew (who is 22) hunting the first time this year. Needless to say he was like a kid on Christmas. I asked him to meet me at 545am and he was there at 4 waiting because he couldn’t sleep and didn’t want to be late. We did an all day sit with a short break in between without seeing a deer. He was disappointed but not discouraged. He has hunted everyday since, on state land no less, because he has no where of his own to go and he managed to take his first deer ever. It was a 4pt but to him it might as well have been a B&C. He couldn’t wait to call me and tell me the story of how the hunt went down and what he did to finally get his first deer. To me this is what hunting is about. I for one have shot my share of Spike, 4 Pt, and 2 year old 6s in my life when I first started. Now I have moved into the “mature” phase of hunting. I still enjoy sitting in the stand and seeing the spikes and 4 PTs running around I just choose not to harvest them. But as stated by many above if a hunter decides to and does it ethically and legally that is their right. I will say that when my nephew called me it brought back many feelings and emotions of my first deer and I will never forget that. Just my .02 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

I’m glad I filled a couple tags early. Had good movement all season up until last week. It has shut down for me. I have gone 3 sits ( 20+ hours ) without seeing a deer. Makes for long days. Looking at rain/wind forecast today will be my last sit for bow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
