    At the request of the landowner I took this buck the other morning. He called him "scrub". He was limping around on three legs with a fresh wound to his front leg almost to the bone.     Drove to my property in 8F ( hour drive ) this morning. Not one deer seen on way, there. Nothing at all yet in my stand. Wind is not as bad as predicted, it's tolerable. Temp is perfect, overcast skies....everything seems right just no movement yet Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Change of scenery for me tonight. I've been hunting hard back home (oswego county) but since they cut the corn 1 1/2 weeks ago the deer have disappeared.     Change of scenery for me tonight. I've been hunting hard back home (oswego county) but since they cut the corn 1 1/2 weeks ago the deer have disappeared.     A majority of guys - me included - put the boat away mid September and start concentrating on deer season ( as I type this I'm sitting in my stand ).     That is correct. I shoot G5 Striker heads. I have tried expendables and do not get the results I want. Nothing against them as I see many deer taken with them but for my bow and setup they are just not a good fit. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Took a nice doe tonight. She was all by herself at gave me a 15 yard slight quartering away shot. That was the exit hole. Hit one lung and then heart. Short 30 yard tracking job. Now I can sit and wait for the Big boy. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
