My washdown pump is T'd off my bait well thru haul intake located on bottom of the boat . It worked fine for a while but now I'm not getting enough water to my washdown pump. The bait well works fine. I've tested the pump outside the boat and it works fine so the problem appears to be water restriction from the intake. Is there a way to clean it in the water? Air compressor etc?. When I put boat on trailer the intake rests on top of the bunk so it's not accessible that way 'Bout Time Mike

Fishing down deep
bout time replied to stillfishing's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Below is a post from last year. As you can see by the marks on the screen and my rigger numbers fish were well below 100'. Its always worth a shot of throwing at least one rig down there to see what happens and if it fires send em all down ...... Posted August 20, 2014 - 3:10 PM Fished right out front by myself. Started in 300 and worked out to 450. Best screen was around 340 range. Temps were deep (60.2 down 150 over 300 FOW) ended up taking a rip on a 425 diver / 1 setting pulling double green crush paddle with whole bait - came unbuttoned. Next shot was on a 450 diver / 1.5 setting w/Gator spin Dr + big fin glow. 16lb King. worked that area for a couple more hours and took just one more short hit on a dipsy. Pointed toward port and screen lit up in 240 FOW. As soon as i saw the screen i said theres no way a rod isnt going to fire. I looked at the rods and rigger one fires pulling a green frog paddle green whole bait rig down 170, i grabbed the rod and rigger 2 fires pulling a UV 2 face echip / cut bait rig down 147, so i left one rod in the rod holder and was working both fish the best i could 45 seconds the wire dispy out 405 starts screaming. a triple and im by myself. Alot of Oh Sh#@s later and i was able to bring two to the net. Gotta love late summer/fall salmon fishing. -

They should just be standard automotive or electrical connectors. Male and female ends. Home Depot / Lowe's / or any automotive store should carry them. I agree though it sounds like a ground issue. I would start there Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

i trim my tag ends off. i have multiples of most flies and they are usually a liitle longer/shorter than the others. that way you can run the same fly on two different setups and if one is taking alot more hits than the other you can change to match.

Out of the little salmon,8/2
bout time replied to rolmops's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
I agree with Rich. I run Torpedos as well and my counters are off less then 12 feet. I have adjusted my counters to make up the difference. So when i see fish or bait at say 100 feet on my sonar i drop my riggers to 100 feet and am within a couple feet of my target. -

you have it about right. i wrap mine twice length wise around spin dr or echip and add a couple inches also. some days 19" work better and other days 24" or longer work better. most of mine are within a couple inches of each other

SBHW Salmon Slam - August 1st, 2015
bout time replied to TOP SECRET's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
I have sat back and let this years event kinda set in. I am proud to say i have been a part of this program from the start. i did not know anyone involved other than their " screen name " from LOU in the beginning. I have met many friends through this program and memories that will last a lifetime. I have seen this event grow every year and have seen the volunteer list also grow. it is truly amazing how much everyone gives and will do anything that is needed for the Veterans. i have participated in other similar programs (wounded warriors fishing) and can honestly say that this is the best run program with the most support. There are several people that truly step up every year to help (most mentioned above) but the two most un-selfish people, that if it were not for them this event would not be here are Nick and Theresa Allers. They put in more hours and behind the scenes work than most realize. They rarely ask for help and always have a smile on their face. They have taken this from a "what can i do" thought to what it is today. it is truly amazing to see this come together every year but i want to recognize both Nick and Theresa for everything they have done and continue to do. You both will always be considered in my eyes as two truly amazing people and my friends. From the entire Juskow Family we thank you both and look forward to all the future years. -

I have a camp on Blind Sodus. Fishing is good early season for northern, perch, and crappie. As the bay warms up there is decent bass fishing. Concentrate on docks and structure as in any bass fishing. Salamanders and 7" worms take a decent amount with hard baits also producing -

No snubbers. Make sure your drags are set just tight enough to keep lune creeping out. One tip is The line shouldncreep slowly on a turn, you can use a rubber band to keep it in place Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
