Def. staging fish. When they school That way they are generally harder to trigger a strike. Can be frustrating but when they turn on it can be insane ‘Bout Time Mike
Now is the time. Adjust the lead off the rigger and your speed until you find what triggers them. I run my plugs close to bottom and will usually run a bit faster for more erratic action. As in any fishing they will have there day but always run a mixed spread and let the fish tell you what they want. ‘Bout Time Mike
Had the same thing happen to us with the probe battery pack while fishing the invitational. I stripped the wire back and wrapped It around the battery coil spring allowing us to finish the day with the probe working, but looks like this may be a design/manf. flaw
I prefer 2.1 - 2.2 as a start. If you are Marking a lot of “streakers” that come up to look but don’t hit adjust speed slightly to see if it triggers strikes before changing out lures ‘Bout Time Mike
The fish are in “pods”. If you see them or catch them work that area hard and move when it shuts down. They feed hard for a little bit then shut back down. The fish are moving fast lately. Your either on them or your not. I marked some bait and fish the last couple trips but a majority of the fish we have caught I have not marked. This leads to the theory of the fish moving in and leaving fast ‘Bout Time Mike
No spoons. I had one rigged to go in but had first fish hit when setting up my spread with just 3 rods in and it was almost non-stop from there. Longest between fish landed and next hit was roughly 15 +\- minutes. ‘Bout Time Mike
A quick but decent trip today with my daughter and her boyfriend Total tally was 5 for 8/9 in just 3.5 hours. Meat taking a majority of the bites but the big fish failing to a F\F combo. Riggers down 100-120 and dispies out 260-300 over 140-190 FOW ‘Bout Time Mike
Fished Friday evening. Things started slow until I figured them out. We didn’t move our first rod for 1.5 hours then it was on. We did 3 doubles and a quad all with just over an hour and twenty minutes. I worked waters just west of the chute between 140-210 with the 190-210 line being best for me. Riggers down 85, 100, and 110. Chinook divers out 190, 210, 225, high diver out 345 and a 500 copper. We ended the night 7 for 12 with 8 bites coming off meat and the rest flies. While in 200’ I was approached By NYS DEC along with Border patrol. They were nice enough To troll along with me and ask me some questions instead of making me pull everything and tie up to me. Satisfied they wished us luck and off they went. ‘Bout Time Mike
Solid afternoon trip. Took my uncle out for his first trip this year. Fished from 3-7pm. Took a total of 10 shots landing 6. Mix of flies and meat. Dipsies out 240 - 350 and riggers 90-125. Worked waters from 140-200. Best of the day was 450 copper with stud meat rig. That took 5 bites. Most fish coming from 44-45* water ‘Bout Time Mike

The DRX10 uses new connectors that screw on vs push on for the DR1000 The DRX10 also shows probe signal strength and probe battery level on the display. ‘Bout Time Mike
After meeting today, it was a very difficult decision but this years Wounded Warrior and Veteran Appreciation event has been cancelled. Due to COVID-19 we must put the safety of all our Veterans, Captains, and Volunteers first. Safety is our number one priority and with many having underlying health conditions and comprised immune systems it is in the best interest and health of everyone if we cancel. Again this decision was very difficult but needed to be made for the well being of everyone Thank you all for your understanding and patience as we tried to work through this My number one priority is the health and safety for everyone involved ‘Bout Time Mike

Please be responsible and cognizant of all the rules and requirements. Especially when posting pictures on social media / on the boats / fish cleaning stations etc. A lot of hard work went into this and hate to see a couple “bad apples” ruin it for everyone. ‘Bout Time Mike
Wondering what everyone is using as a winch strap for their boats, I have a 25' hardtop trophy that is approx +/- 6000 lbs loaded. My current strap is on its way out and looking for replacement suggestions. i have a standard hand crank system
Love my Grundens. I have the medium weight ones and wear them from April - June and then again September-October. Easy on, easy off, comfortable, and waterproof ‘Bout Time Mike
