  2. Although we've never met I live right up the lake and I stopped to look and this boat is everything he's claiming. Its in great shape and a serious fishing machine and one heck of a deal. Good Luck!
  3. She's gorgeous.. Nice ride. Admin's maybe a "New Boat Delivery" section could be fun?
  4. This is an amazing video and sold me on the E Tecs if I ever venture back to outboards.
  5. SOLD SOLD I have a 5hp Gamefisher in good condition. Runs great and sips gas. Very Light maybe 30lbs. I used it as a kicker on my my old 17ft 1000lb Center Console and wide open it would run about 7mph. The prop is in good shape. I have a brand new fuel line but no gas tank. It is a 2 stroke single cylinder. $300 or Best Offer
  6. I travel and tow with my Ford Expedition. 5.4 Triton tows my pig very well and never at a loss for power and yet very comfortable and quiet inside. This is only my second Ford after a lifetime of broke down Chevys and I am very happy.
  7. Great idea.. I'd buy a couple. Maybe offer the sticker with a professional membership?
  8. Ahhh Yes, My Christmas in Spring
  9. Thanks again everyone. I ended up ponying up the $50 for a new set. It was cheaper than I thought it would be.
  10. Thats genius yet simple. Thanks
  11. Long story short, I have a brand new bimini top on my Trophy. While trailering last week I thought I had the top secured tightly however a gust of wind disagreed. Now I have a clean break in the aluminum support railing for the bimini. Is there any way to repair aluminum poles or do I have to suck it up and replace the railing on the month old top already? Thanks
  12. Sorry to ask a dumb question, but did you run the blower while fueling? I forgot once and the stench lasted a couple days.
  13. I just wanted to shoot you an update, I dropped her in the water today for about 6hrs and the fiberglass seems to be holding pretty well after some fishing and walking on it. Its not 100% but I'm pretty sure it will hold for the season. Thanks again for all the help and maybe I'll suck it up and spend a couple hundred to replace it next season.
  14. Awesome news... I was hoping they went in today. Thanks
  15. lakebound, just for curiosity sake, where did you get the aluminum replacement made and if you don't mind, at what cost? Thanks
  16. Thanks for the tip lakebound. If I get the whole season I'll be suprised and happy.
  17. Hey guys, I tried the fiberglass resin & cloth repair yesterday. Come to find out my floor panel does in fact have a wood core inside the fiberglass shell which of course was cracked open. I did the job inside a 65' garage and it appeared solid as a rock within 3 hours. I stepped on it this morning and it made some creaking noise but it was 22' here this morning and despite the noise it was pretty solid. I'll let you know how its holding up in a week or so. Thanks for the suggestions and good luck bluewater. If this doesn't hold I will cut out the wood, replace, and try again.
  18. Good stuff, Thanks guys for all the help. I think I'll try the NAPA solution first and see how its goes. Thanks again
  19. I just upgraded to a 21ft Trophy. The boat has a large livewell in the floor on the starboard side next to the I/O motor cover. It has a fiberglass cover that you walk on and is in a high traffic area on the boat for trolling. Now its a little soft/spongy and I'd rather not put my foot through it. Does anyone have any idea how I could reinforce this cover or replace it? Thanks
  20. Have you pushed this one on lester yet? This is perfect.
  21. Although putting lead into fresh water is bad for the enviroment if you are shooting responsibly and clear of other boats your probably not going to get bothered. Where do you think the Coast Guard practices. Off shore. 8yrs active duty USCG
  22. Great stories guys. Here I've been thinking I was crazy to check the launch and dream of getting out in the next 2-3 weeks.
  23. Like everyone else I need to make room for a new boat so I will entertain a reasonable offer
