  9. Valinote - Yes i did install it, i'm not totally sure if you have to but it came with it so i figured i might as well, i did luck out because there was already an old raytheon one hook up which is basicly the same exact thing so i used the same screw holes and the tie bar and just replace it with the new EV sensor Gill-T Thanks!
  10. Bender - we have been fishing out of Wilson, and we've had to work a lot of water with two boats to be somewhat consistent.
  11. My 3 week old 1996 tiara 2900 open is finally in the water
  12. So far im loving the ev-200, I did the install myself and it was fairly easy, seems to be a very user friendly system. I bought on eBay and got a $300 rebate so I think I'm only $2200 into it plus the cost of the lines I had made.
  13. I'm also looking for a new cool, my friend has a Siberian and loves it, much cheaper then yeti and seems to have better ice holding reviews
  14. Finally got "dublin up" in the water Friday night at 9pm, took three weeks of hard work the get the boat rigged and ready for splash down. Saturday morning we finally got to drop in some lines and see how the boat trolled and figure out the ev-200 I just installed, the morning bite was slow for us but I didn't care because I was just happy to start dialing in the boat. We pulled gear at 11am and went in to grab a few things we forget like batteries for the probe and a center rigger ball, came back out for the afternoon bite and trolled north out of the harbor and finally broke in the boat with a nice screamer in 290 fow, finished out with 2 kings and a steelhead. Sunday we went out at 4pm and fished til 7pm, was very productive! We went 6-9 on big kings, 350 copper with blue lagoon took a few, riggers down 70' with frostbite fired a few times and I believe divers at 250 fired also, they only wanted gold back spoons Sunday night. Monday afternoon was much slower for us, worked 200'-450' and went 2 for 4 on kings, and of course we lost both bigger kings 50' from the boat. Thanks to all the vets !!! All in all it was a great weekend and I'm loving the new boat!
  15. Afternoon bite was best for us today too, deep
  16. That tool was easily worth the money, just removed and installed new bearing on about an hour and a half by myself!
  17. I ended up buying the strut pro puller, so if anyone need to use it let me know !
  18. There was about 75+ boats between Wilson and the bar with the pro-am going on. Lots of marks in tight buts only a few takers.
  19. I don't think it will be an easy task pulling the strut, if I can't find one to rent I'll have to just order the puller I guess
  20. Does anyone have a Cutlass bearing puller that I could rent or borrow? The type that doesn't require the shafts to be pulled, thanks
