    I run 2 riggers at 6-8' then 2 flat lines back 150'. To me less is more and I have had a number of days with 20+ hookups. Certainly not all days but I like a manageable spread. I like the ability to move in and out of the other boats without being 100' wide. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

    I never run boards at all and think I do just fine. I just use really long leads of 100-150. For me I just feel like the boards are to much on busy days when traffic is heavy. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

    I do best on green and silver or blue and silver spoons. Also the bay rat sticks seem to be hot the last couple years. Greens and Oranges are my go to for the short shallows. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

    We hit Mexico today and went 3/5. We hit all 5 at the rocky point near the plant. 4/5 hit a orange and green Michigan stinger spoon 8 down over 10-15 fow. The other lost one hit an orange bay rat on a flat line over 10 fow. Great mud line and the ones we caught were puking up little alewives. Good luck, they are there for the taking just be patient.     We hit the BRB tonight for eyes and managed 1 pike (31" and 7 lbs) all spawned out. Few walleyes caught too but not in my boat. 18' over 23' on riggers with bombers in rainbow color. Temps 54-56.

    Just curious, were you fishing the sticks on the top of the water column or off riggers? I've never fished Cayuga but was thinking of heading there for something different. Thanks
