    Finally got on the lake today with my new to me 22' islander and managed to land 1 22# king and lose 2 at the back of the boat. Also had a couple releases on the down riggers with no one home. I fished out of irondequoit bay and it was pretty rough out there but I did break in the new boat "black nasty" with a nice king

    I think my bellows are leaking and need replacement, water is leaking in at the back of the motor, I would like it fixed this week If possible. The boat is an 81 islander with a 470 mercruiser. I'm located in wayland about an hour south of rochester

    Hemlock and canadice are 16' boat with max motor size of 9.9 horsepower and there is no swimming in those lakes. They are pretty isolated though if she was going to swim it I doubt anyone would be around to see

    I tried keuka today to jig Lakers and got skunked. I tried right in front of the branchport launch where we caught them all winter. I marked a couple cruisers on my marcum but no chasers or lookers. I tried a white tube and also a white zoom fluke, both baits that were my go to on hard water. I tried from 130-60 fow

    My buddy patrols a lot on the Steuben country sheriffs boat and he said they patrol most of the lake except the extreme north ends
