I'm confused? I don't think so. 18 gals pure x 21 =378 miles 20 gals E 10 x 16 = 320 miles I believe my math is correct . Point being that under this example, if you bought 20 gals of E 10, you would travel farther if you could take the 2 gals or 10% of ethanol out. Capn Vince is correct . More Gals means more Taxes. Less corn for food means Grain prices soar. Farm land becomes more valuable and rents go up. Food prices go up . Inflation happens . Farmers make more money to by off local politicals to get more subsidies. Great work if you can get it. Probably wont go away . Kind of like cigarets . They are bad , get people sick , but we need the tax revenue, so we won,t ban it. I also like the law just passed to make it ileagal for members of congress to engage in insider trading. Somthing that was thought of as a bit of a perk for our elected officials. Making laws that they know will influence the stock market & profiting from it. No conflict of interest there. The same thing they put Martha Stewart in jail for. Tar & Feathers anyone?

Jimski reported on ethanol post his friend said he got 21 miles mpg pure gas to 16 mpg to E 10. That is a litlle more than a 25 % decrease in performance. There is only 10% eth in the gas. So ........... If I bought 20 gal of E 10 at 16 mpg I could travel 320 miles. If I bought 15.25 gal of pure I could travel ......320 miles. At $ 3.50 / gal that is $ 16.62 more to drive the same distance . That 10% ethanol is giving us 25% less performance by my math. Are we burning 15 % more pure gas to travel the same distance by adding the ethanol? If I am in fact correct , why would our elected officials knowing this , and I'm sure they do, decree this to happen? Surely the great thinkers & Scientific minds of the country did the math on this. I thought they wanted us to use less oil, not more. I don't know about the rest of you ,but my fleece aint growin as fast as it use to.

They are Stacking releases that clip onto the cable . They worked ....OK. They also had some w/ a snap on instead of the clip that you attach onto the ball or use on a yellow bird. Showing my age here. Still have them in my release box.

I think Mac Jack made them. Bought them at Canandaigua Fishing Tackle on Ridge at Dewey.

Moderation is the key to anything. Clean properly as stated & eat up.Lateral line ruins the taste. There are far more worse things on the grocery shelves we eat daily. The way the economy is going , I may have to start eating more fish.

If you are using it mostly for jigging , Go braid /floro leader.. If Cranks & spinnerbaits , a low stretch mono. 10-12 lb.

Let me think on it a bit & I'll get back to ya.

The wealth that has made this country as great as it is was generated by technological advancements & a "Can Do",not going to fail attitude. Granted, look at GE & the Hudson river, Dow chemical & the Love Canal , and there is more.We need regs, But we are getting to the point of not being able to pitch a tent in this country without an enviromental impact study. lets not EPA ourselves into France , which we are almost at the point of. Expensive energy costs make ALL prices rise , Bleed us a little more each day of our savings, drive buissneses out , and lower our standard of living. The plastic wrapped meat we see at the store that makes your mouth water took a pretty ugly trip on its way into the showcase.

On my boat of similar size I have 2 large Walmart best Deepcycle /starting batteries. I have one for just my motor & one for everthing else. This way I figure I will never kill the motor batt & get stuck out there. If your motor has a alt, get a dual batt switch & wire to intructions. I am going to get a dual bank onboard charger/maintainer for when out of water this year.

Tell em , Walleye. We need energy independece NOW ! And yup, there will probably be some sort of negative impact on the enviroment. As there always is when we extract the natural resources we want and need. That's the chance you have to take ,there are allways risks involved. And someone will make a good buck doing it, those damn 1 % ers. Crap in a creek ,And yet we STILL have the some of the best fishing on the planet. I 'm not going to complain on the farmers who have it tough as it is. I like to eat.

For each complete turn of the reel handle, the bail or spool revolves 5.1 or 4.2 times. The lower the gear ratio , the more powerfull but less line retrived. Kind of like low gear in your vehicle or pitch of your prop. High gear ratio retrives line faster w/ no weight , but with a load , or fish, it is harder to turn the handel & puts extra wear & tear on the reels gears & your arms.

I wonder what the take home pay for an 80 hr work week is down there ? I have put in a few of those myself, and have reaped the benifits from it. And no one " suckered " me into it. From what I see being taught to our young people the last few years,Nice to know there are still a few who are willing to bust their butts & sacrifice for families & selves for a good life. Got to get back to Earning a good life, not being handed one. Any harvesting of energy comes with some sort of impact on the enviroment & our lives, and somtimes it ain't pretty. Thats the chance you have to take if we want big homes, vehicles ,boats, toys , etc. that demand the unlimited energy so we can live the good lives we have been acustom to living.

Try to get somthing at least 16 ' w/a V hull . A motor of 25 to 50 Hp. I have a side console 16 ' Alumacraft w/ 35 hp that I got a real good deal on to fish for bass & pike. I outfitted it w/rod holders & a couple of manual short arm riggers & Depth finder I had laying around. Fun boat to fish out of on nice days closer to shore for T&S & do well with. Easy to trailer & launch. GREAT on gas. When lake is rough, I pull my bass tackle & fish for them . I have more fun fishing that boat most days than my 21'er,but safety first out there. Good Luck.

I'll bet Momar was a Boston fan.

Get an owners Manual or Clymers book and follow it well. You screw up , count on spending big bucks in the spring.

A nobody coach , A nobody QB, a nobody RB , & a nobody D. Lost 2 games by a total of 6 pts.Played poorly those games & still could have pulled it out ,so there is hope. . A loss is a loss , but it sure is nice being 4 & 2 into the Bye.

Don't know if Muriatic Acid will eat your alum boat ,but I do know it will eat up the Galv & metal on your trailer & make it rust. Works great on the fiberglass boat .

I must admit, it is kind of nice to see some different teams compete in the playoffs. When was the last time Detroit was in the ALCS or World series? When was the last time they won it?

How much broke off ? If it is only a few inches, go to B&E or Jay V & they can fix you up. Captains cove also. You can do it yourself. It's not hard at all. Cabalas bargain cave had trolling rods for $ 20. Somtimes it's cheaper to buy a new one & have it shipped to your house if you have to drive a long way to get it fixed.

Did you see the smile on Girardis face when he left the field? What a way to stick it to the Soxs. Make them feel like they are in and pull the rug out at the last second. First the Bills & now this. Not a great week for sports in the New England area. The Pats give up a 21 pt lead & now the Soxs CHOKE their way out of the playoffs.

Finding out I would rather fish out of my 16 ft tin can than my 21' hard top. It's more fun & rewarding . I feel I am more in touch with the fish & water. Got blown off early yesterday but fished for pike /bass after that. Had a pearl/ black dot canadian plug (J plug style size 3) take a lot of hits the last few times out. Fish are quite large this year. Shallow early morn then move out & find creek water w/weeds & the fish will be in it. East - Pump house was loaded w/ fish today. Flat line early , then Riggers w/ kind of long leads as it gets lighter . Last time out for me. Time to break out the Fly rod. ==================== -
