I have been getting my man cave organized, deer heads, fish and birds hung up on my new deer wall and re doing the upstairs bathroom. A buck i passed up 2 weeks ago now showed himself in the rain this morning. So im getting my cousin in my stand i passed this buck out of hoping he gets a shot at him tonight! One buddy saw a nice mid 120s buck on a doe on one property we can hunt so we got one of our other buddies who lost some land in there tonight. To try n get a crack at him. He came close, had him grunting and running doe's near him and he passed up a basket 8 point. So at least he had some action. He hasnt seen a deer in a couple weeks! Thanks guys! Deffinitely a lot pf time thinking about his bedding. Staying out of the property till he felt comfortable enough to come out in the daylight. Hunted food plot this morn only saw a spike. So got down to a pinch point to eat lunch. 5 minutes later he comes walking by! Put my lunch down and grabbed my bow as I was on the ground. So waited till he was behind a. Tree drew and stopped him in an 18yd opening with not a twig between us! Well a buddy called and said he hit a good one this morn and was unsure on the hit so he backed out and so I jumped out of my stand met up with him at noon and we went back in and went looking. Had some bucks running around today! One 2.5 yr old 8 chased a doe right round my stand l grunting up a storm. Had another 2.5 yr old walk my trail to my stand and get about 6 feet from my backpack and look at it lol. Backed up a few feet and went around me. Ended up seeing 5 bucks and 2 does.
