  1. U say it would fit a 34 foot boat. But only has a gvw for 15 k. I'd b looking at moving a 33 footer that weighs 16500. Think it would work? Price? Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. thanks Pete! I cant wait hoping to get on it quick so i can have it set up before spring!
  3. yes! haha my boat works fine and I love it but I feel I want a little more space to store rods and stuff. and feel if i am going to go bigger i am going to make it worth my while into a boat that i should not need to go any bigger in the future haha
  4. I am looking to see if anyone knew of a local that was selling one or one that was not crazy far away! looking at a few right now but would really like to find one that has spent its life in fresh water. IF not I may have to do some traveling! pic is on the style i want. there are a couple different models in the same year.
  5. going to trade with Jason! thanks guys! lucas I have an 840 as a backup downstairs in the boat they work! haha
  6. the transducers work back and forth but if you use an x4 probe with an x4d u just dont get depth!
  7. I am willing to trade my headunit and probe of my x4d for a headunit and probe for an x4. I dont use the down depth as much i use my surface speed and i really miss it. If anyone is interested let me know! x4d was brand new last year!
  8. x2 on the jump shooting them that is fun, but getting them to commit into your decoy spread is AWESOME!!
  9. We hunted them last year with 400 decoys and couldn't even get them to commit!! Need electric calls and the swinging birds! Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Like bottom said, they land with too many in each field that they eat all the food so quick so they only hit each field for a couple days and move on. And from what we have found the more decoys u can make or buy the better!! Goof luck they are tough to decoy in! Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Nice! we were not so fortunate the last 2 days! haha but still fun, nice to someone is killing them!
  12. i use to live in Colorado and there were quite a few people who did this especially hunting jack rabbits but also saw them going after cottontail in some areas! I always loved it and really wanted to get one before i moved here to new york! It is amazing how smart the birds can get with proper training! like said before there are regulations on getting them and everything one big thing is also building a cage that meets the specific codes and it has to get inspected frequently! It is really cool, i have not met anyone in New York that does it so it is cool to see people do it around here as well!
  13. Bought one of his old set ups and it is working perfect and he is willing to help you learn the equipment if you dont understand stuff! Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Yes ur gun misfireing should not be happening those guns are really nice I looked all over trying to find one before I bought Myn! I shoot an all stainless Omega. I may have to do some research and see if I can find anyone else having issues with ur model. Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Hop what muzzleloader are you using? Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. When u say your firing it multiple times then loading you are meaning poping off primers, not actually shooting it I hope! If so I don't think that it is as important with modern In lines. As long as u clean the breach plug with something small enough to make sure the hole is clear and before u load it just hold the gun so u can see light thru the hole there should be no need to pop a primer. Unless u feel there may be moisture in the barrel for some reason. But I pretty much exclusively hunt with my muzzleloader and have only fired off just a primer when at the range now and then. My gun has only not gone off for me once after hunting in a monsoon! And for the threads on the breach plug I use bore butter also use the bore butter for cleaning the barrel after a water scrub! Hopefully u and rob have better luck in the next couple days! Keep at them!! Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. I hunt some land in Avon right next to 390. there were definitely a good amount of deer there but didnt seem like anything crazy at all. One of the spots the way the woods were it was a strip on both sides of the road and when they got pushed off one piece of land they would run right across 390.trying to get to the other woodlot and some dont make it! I see deer dead there every time I drive by and found a lot in the brush and along the fence that made it off the highway to die. But we didnt see like 30 deer everytime maybe 5 or so and a few more on occasion. Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Sweet nice job looks like u dropped her too! I still have the picture of being out with my dad and getting our first deer hung up on the wall!! He will definitely remember that! Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
