Great night -
Way to go Justin. I took a walleye break and hit the lake today. 3 small salmon and 3 lakers and lost a couple more. -

Perhaps Charity or Pigeon Island but may be a touch early.

Fished the night shift. Scratched out a limit for All from Mississippi. His first eyes ever. -
Nice fish border. I have on several several occasions seen zebras in walleyes stomachs and I assumed they were from undigested from gobies.

My nieces soccer coach gave their team an assignment to catch a fish with a team mate over the summer. Yesterday we caught some bass and got them up early for some eyes this morning. Believe they should have a team fish fry!

I catch them in Henderson and Chaumont fishing for walleyes I the spring but have never caught one down river. -
Beautiful fat fish. Hope you can stay on them. -

I seldom see alewives. Gobies are their main food but obviously will eat big prey. They do bite some after sunrise but we are generally fishing in the dark.

Landshark, You know your welcome anytime. Average weight was 7 1/2 pounds.

One had these in it's stomach.

Seems like Fox and Grenadier would be good but I haven't fish it. Mostly been hitting walleyes. -

This one appeared to be full of gobies.I caught one off a rigger on a spoon once but not as big. Would have liked to seen that one nearly 15" Landshark. Didn't know they got that big. Any idea what it may have weighed? -
While trolling the SLR for walleyes this morning I hooked what I thought was a smallmouth. Turned out to be a 12", 1.3 lb. rock bass. Don't believe I have ever seen one this big but it's well off the state record. Also caught a nice limit of walleye.

Hit another limit in a half hour on Sunday. -
Fished in solitude this morning. Caught at least 20 bass in about an hour. Many 8-11" but released a limit of nice largemouths. Very relaxing morning.
