    GBrad I understand your want to do it on your own. I am the same way. Took a couple of charters. Now I’m hooked and into it way more than I wanted to be. You can go on YouTube. Lots of videos and guys in here will help alot

    Will a 10 color core in the micro fit on a 30 series reel with enough backer? I have mason 27 lb with backer on one now but is real tight

    Juthunter I am just kidding. My boat is a 19 ft. I have a hard enough time managing my spread . Usually run 2 rigger,2 dipsey, 2 planer with lead and copper. If fishing is slow I will stack the riggers with another set of rods

    I have only run one per side. That’s all the dipsey rods I have. Now I have to buy 2 more 😄😄. I didn’t realize you could run more than one per side. I sense a big cluster f in the making for me. 😄😄😄

    Fishing fool34 I am a prime example of your comment about having best electronics and not being able to catch fish on most days. 😄😄😄 I still have a lot to learn. Once in a while I get lucky!

    Prove land this site is very informative sight. A lot of guys are willing to help a new guy out . You would be a lot better off if you had some constructive input . That’s if you have the knowledge. If not maybe sit back and learn buddy. Rather than slamming people or bragging. To me it sounds like you are a key board warrior that doesn’t have a clue. But I could be wrong😄😄😄

    Whoever the boat I cut off when we caught the king sorry. I buried a smithwicks to curve of the hook in my hand. You probably could hear me screaming in the next boat as the fish kept flailing around in the boat with me hooked to it. 😄😄
