  1. great report, wonder why so many fish solo.Ill tell you landing a king solo is a feat to be proud of.let alone "three"awesome.Im content with one but Im getting greedy knowing time is short .Dipseys and small j-plugs worked well last night.
  2. We lost a nice king tonight on a #3 jplug behind a dipsey.I heard about it from another fisherman and it works .Wil be using it tomorrow as there are lots of matures crusing our waters now.
  3. went out tonight with captain Joe (Set and ready charters and friends. It was a awesome evening trip.Boated 4 large kings,a large coho, rainbow ,browns and several lakers.Copper took many along with several hits on dipseys.Meat took several fish behind flashers . We fished west of pultneyville to almost bear.creek120 to 150 temp was 80 down. It was a memorial night with thanks to Captain Joe and his friends. Joe realy knows his fishing and it paid off.
  4. looks like the kings will be around awhile, hopefully till halloween
  5. hey nice fish, have you heard of any perch action on seneca yet?thanks, john
  6. went out late saturday and saw the same picture 90 to 120.Lots of kings and bait .temp down about 85.I only had a few hours as my party informed me they had to cut the trip short due to a engagment. In hindsight always ask before trips when they need to be back in,They caught a brown. Then the storm came by and never made it out for the PM trip. Going out today but no party.Solo again. My search for good trolling partner continues.
  7. I hear some have done very well, boating over 20 kings, its been mediocore here. Its the same old find the fish catch the fish. the kings are still over deep water so we still hopefully have another three weeks of lake fishing left
  8. 250 was best screen for us.The fish were there but not as many as monday night.Lots of current and waves didnt help.We ended up 2 for 5.One salmon and a rainbow both on copper.Honeydue flasher and meat.
  9. have had good luck with #3 jplugs or small silver hordes.Silver, glow but the black and purple has been the best so far.I stacked them about ten feeet over a protrool or spinnie..good idea about jplugs with dipseys will try tomorrow. I had a large king 25 last night ,might have won it hadnt been for 6 lamreys it had on it sucking the life out of it.Three feel off in the boat, tsix fresh scars.
  10. thanks, mike i did miss a few kings today.they bite off the leader on my j plugs #3 black and purple. im adding some braided line for tomorrow
  11. someone told me once salmon can travel 7 miles in a day.no wonder its usualy a good guess where they might be. i had a group to take out tomorrow morning ,all rookies. i always tell them it's fishing not catching,no pressure Ill start with a few easy lakers
  12. very nice boat nick.I had a 19 ft. for many years the larger boats are much more relaxating. All the comforts of home while your fishing.Great for kids to.Just stay away from the cabin if your rocking and rolling.lol
  13. wonderful.he will always remember the fish. beautful day for bringing kids fishing
  14. cold water has brought some matures in close.I caught a low twenty 50 over 75 on a silver horde.I did mark other kings and am going back trying hordes in close.one thing is you can cover alot of water fairly fast and the kings like the hordes and small jplugs. lakers and browns were also pleniful but stayed away as they tend not to hit a fast plug.
  15. thats where they went to,lol well my party had a great time with the lakers, maybe get a king tomorow
  16. very good early, lots of kings around 50 degrees 85 down over 90.Went out later 50 degres 50 ft down most of the fish were gone but took three big lakers 45 down on glow purple hookster silver back. One hit on my combo.the fish moved into 60 ft.This was 3.5 miles nw of port. Where are all the derby boats from hughes.???
  17. fished in 90 to 120 ,temp was 50 degrees 85 down over 90,temp went down further out.browns lakers and kings.Going back out this afternoon.Pultneyville to bear creek. It was a beautiful day hopefully the fish will still be there .
  18. hey endorse yourself for all your effort just going fishing.it takes alot to captain a boat especialy when we get older. Better days ahead I always say.If we always killed them it would soon turn boring. So glad all turned out well with the storm. It passed us bye here at our port.tonight west of you. Good fishing

  21. i use a light leader for bass on leadcore 10 test.20 for trout or salmon.its a awesome way to fish, takes alot of deep bass.
  22. ive had a 1988 120 since 1992.Still runs great about 2.5 mpg.these motors run and run and are fairly cheap to buy if you need one.If you ever need a tow im usaly on 69.out of pultneyville.Pugsley marine in ontario does great work.
