    Last evening I fished awhile water 65 again Marked a few big fish Looks like a better chance for SMB They are their fall feed cycle Did see a number.o boat out deeper. Nice smoky sunset

    went out sunday afternoon.Cold water 52 in harbor mouth.45 degrees in 40 ft.Found some bait in 30 to 45 marked few fish.Went further out found 60s on top in 75 ft. On the way back in harbor water was back in the 60s. Marked few fish on the trip probably better close to shore except for the gin water doesn't help Today went down 56 degrees in harbor but no fish water very turbid maybe better tomorrow. last year I took a large king off my boat at the dock.hasn't seen even a early rainbow yet. There is always tomorrow

    Lots of cold water inside Had only a couple of hours marked few fish My bet is flat lines and boards Not many fish in creeks Later today another try. Had a great day matching with BLM folks

    I went out for bass late,slow action there so I went further to 60 ft.Lots of fish off the bottom like every year.In past years before the quaggas dragging the bottom was the ticket for late kings.Anyone know of a rig that would avoid this problem? Going out later when the wind is supposed to drop. One rig I often use is a spin doctor or pro chip off the rigger not more than 10 ft with a stacked J-plug with a rattler following ,took many fish,not many though in warm water we are seeing this year.

    For us it was a slow day Those who fished shallow and early out of temp did better To here was 55 deg 60 ft dn It was a pleasant boat ride day

    I have found the right temp will get fish.if they don't hit lengthen the lead. Green and white has been good since the first stocking My biggest 38 came on a mag g/w stinger in 45 deg water the night before the fall derby in 92

    for us temp has been the key.I finally got my depth raider to work ok and it made the difference.45 degree water was hot for kings. I took the swivel off the clincher and connected directly to the device made the difference.

    we stayed in shallow good temp .tons of bait at 60 to 85.It took awhile to dial in .Finally it was spoons 50 ft plus leads at 67 ft started the rods popping.One hit on FF ,We took a nice mature in for weight 25 3 couldn't find my scale on boat.Stay hydrated if you go out today.

    Went out deep good action on steelhead to 35 ft lake was perfect Small red spoons We will have to have a round up for the lost kings.lol

    fishing was slow early .later around noon like last year they turned on between 250 and 400.Look for the cold water 45-47 .No big kings but some nice steelhead

    Today's news of what happened in DC was disheartening .Peaceful protesters attacked with teargas and battens .All for a photo op.for him. Dr.Abraham Low famous quote."Peace is the purpose of life.To keep yourself and all those around you peaceful".He also said in times we are in you must put intellect over emotion.Of course we should always apply that rule Now back to fishing ,good salmon action expected this week,
