  9. I was fortunate to compete in the oswego pro-am and the atomik invitatonal. I couldn't of had more fun! However, I have fished these tournaments in the past. (pro-am) and from what I have seen and heard. They have changed drastically in just the few years I have been present. I agree with the award ceremony being upped, so to speak. I ran my own tournament this past year. WOW, what a great success. And this was on Seneca. Tom, our two tournaments were alike. Maybe not in size and some rule differences, but alike in concept. We ran a small boat format of 14 boats at a $275 entry fee. $25 of it covering teams food at the awards ceremony. Everyone loved it. The invitational, same thing! Great food and great people. I would think that with the pro-am being so big that they could take the step to do the same thing or at least come close. I look forward to fishing with and against all of you in the future. I hope to see tournaments like yours and mine for a long time coming... One thing I learned though is that YOU can NEVER please everyone.... If there is a way I could aid Ob your or any tournament organization I would love to help... Nick. [ Post made via Android ]
  10. There has been some brutes caught recently. This past winter an 18 pounds northern was caught... Last season I got a 13# pike off my dock in early april in the canal casting mepps #4 spinners. The early months we tend to get quite a few in the canal along with bass and pickeral. The bass fishing this year was great as well. I found myself flipping posts while waiting for clients every weekend... No complaints! [ Post made via Android ]

  14. Neat! There is a boat on seneca that has them. I guess on his way from where he got it he took a log between the two units and jammed it up... Had to pull it to get it out. An awesone set up though. [ Post made via Android ]
  15. No cons that I can think of. I have owned both before and have worked on both. When it comes to servicing your disc brakes, its as easy as the fronts on your car. If you have experience in the mechanical field, nothing wrong with drums either. I would prefer disc.. I did some work on a friends trailer a few seasons ago. He burned through a set of pads/rotors in one season. However he was towing the trailer tongue to low. We replaced all components. Actuator and brake pads/rotors. He has not had an issue since. With a tandem you can expect a smoother ride... Just my two cents.. Good luck, If that deal falls through check out my trailer on the classifieds.!
  16. South end is still recovering. However winter months any casting spoon and bass or pike minnows under slip floats do the job well [ Post made via Android ]

  19. sorry, those are not going with the boat, and I will be hanging on to them for safe keeping. Never know when ya are going to need a set of riggers. But, are you looking to get rid of a hand crank in exchange for the electric and cash? Let me know.
