  1. <<<<<-----------I paid twenty bucks, therefore I sir, am a professional... Just kidding, I saw something or another of this topic this morning before 7 am. It struck me odd. I tried talking with the "experts" at the pro am once. I got a cold shoulder.. A big one, and I was even congratulating the team well done. Expert- Definition- A large Richard Cranium. On another note, let's leave the "pros" and "cons" to the democrats...
  2. What ed said... Browns like 57 degree water.. where that thermo meets the bottom you will find browns... The salmon I tend to find just a tad cooler in 52-55.. its not uncommon to find these fish in cooler or warmer water depending on what type of front, or feed they are on... [ Post made via Android ]
  3. Hey guys. I need help figuring out an issue. A kayak is paddling inside a no boat marker. Is this breaking the law? If so, in what way? I can not find where a kayak is considered a vessel or boat and needs to abide by this specific no boat marker... Anyone want to chime in? [ Post made via Android ]
  4. Ed fished yesterday. Peach orchard four hundred line wad hot lakers down 130 and bows down about 45. All paired were 7-10. Big and full of eggs kept some and released some.. [ Post made via Android ]
  5. what broadhorizon said..... The antenna can even make a cheap radio perform like a million dollar unit...
  6. Surveyor Sean Bartnett 585-624-1380 I myself would love the fact of owning a Luhrs... There is a few on my lake way too big of course, but a guy can dream.. Give sean a call, does a great job! Nick

  8. not bad, check out my report.. the wind made it a PIA but the weeds were gone..
  9. Hey guys, late report for Seneca. Had a couple from Texas up, and heading out on the water shortly after 5:30. We ran north about 7 miles. Set up south of the castle. The wind was building and the waves were rolling. We had plenty of marks, no weeds and a TON of fleas. Only build-up of fleas was on the rigger cable(power pro) and the dispys line. We hit fish on a north troll all day as it was too heavy to make a turn. The waves were rolling good. We took fish on Coppers, cores, dipsy's, and riggers. Lost three fish that I would of loved to seen. We all know how that goes, when you can just tell the rods bent right over, barely gaining line... Yeah... Those kinds of fish.. Finnished with a good number of fish to please these Salt water enthusiasts to wanna come back for more in the future! That made us feel pretty good. We hit Bows, LL, Lakers. No browns for us today, although I did try some brown water, but I did not switch to the right colors. Hot Lures. SD Green frog with yellow killer fly SD white/green dot with atommik White Halo O&M spoons Stinger/ DW blues, oranges, pinks.... Pictures to follow! Nick

  13. I personally have never been able to have hank work on my boat, but he has taken time to help me figure out issues and fix them via emails and phone and for that I thank him. Great guy to talk with and knows his stuff!! [ Post made via Android ]
  14. Good way to put it spike. My friends and family think I roll in money at night, but honestly, we all know how expensive this really is... The days I believe are four hours though.. Nick [ Post made via Android ]
  15. It's a myth? We all have tough days out there.. Others, and I have all had some pretty bad ones this year. As far as fleas go, I upped the line on my rigger rods to 40 lb Andes with fluor leaders. No fleas on those rods. As far as fishign goes, they are there, jsut cant keep lines clean long enough. I love running the big spread but were even limited to the few rods now. I have been running bigger lures, and alot deeper as well.. A lot of my big lakers this year have come from over 130 down. But the brown bites are always good if you can find a steady bottom and t-cline.. Nick
  16. AMEN to that... LOL! I lost out on over 6 trips last month due to the failure of my ignition system... Every little but helps!! Besides us FLX guys are paying 4.98 a gallon for fuel.... CRUNCH!!

  20. I would say it is electrical. Water in the fuel can be ok at idle, may cause a surge, but you really notice it on the top end side of things, you can't get there!! I just replaced my ignition system in my boat, ALL of it. I went with the Mallory YLM breakless ignition. BUrned up 3 coils before mallory finally told me I needed the coil pack assembly versus the one that comes in their kit.. Go figure right? But now my boat runs bettter, starts up without pumping the throttle, idles smoother and faster holeshots.. I have about 700 into this new system, but the piece of mind is worth it. To me , it still sounds as if your contact points are "green".. Check the inside of the cap. Maybe you even have wires jumping.. start up and grab some wires!! Kidding, dont do that, but if you take a spray bottle, and mist some water over the wires, and hear baccon cooking, replace your wires:).. Racing guy taught me that trick.. Good luck, Nick
  21. ed, is the strating almost in the sense catching? Must be the brushes are shot... or soon will be..?
