  12. Thanks Dave! Definitely was a war zone. Some guys just didn't care out there.... we even left the pack to try and get away but the fish were not nice to us anywhere else. We finished with double digits and only one Atlantic. The rest were browns!!!!!!! Great day til the rain started [ Post made via Android ]
  13. Awesome! Great report. It is kind of funny how rare the atlantics are on Lake O. So much water for them. Down here on Seneca we see the slobs weekly. Its great that you got your first! Good job

  18. no, I think that will be light enough yet heavy enough to handle the slobs of the bows they have been getting. Check out that website! I follow some of the guides on facebook out there. They are posting daily giant fish...
  19. I was out there in october to visit my girlfriend in Glenwood springs. Colorado river flows right through here. However, we went hiking and I didnt get to fish, but we did some scouting for our next trip next year. We went to Aspen and Basalt. Basalt has the perfect stream for you if you want to wade. The Frying Pan is beautiful. The CO river would be good to you too from shore if you looked at a map. Guided trips out there are really affordable. However, I really recommend a shop in Basalt which litterally has the Frying Pan right outside its window. The shop is Called Taylor Creek Fly Shop. I stopped in three seeperate shops, and this one is the best. I told them where I was from and they were real talkative and gave alot of ideas as to who and where to go. But while we drove along these streams, everywhere we went, I was able to watch people fight fish and land them. Also, if you have time, go to the Mountains in Aspen and visit Maroon Bells where you will find Maroon Lake! Beautiful fish everywhere!! their site is www.taylorcreek.com

  22. I fish Seneca however, I do catch silver's on ff combos. But I like to run my spoons at 2.2-2.6 ball speed. I use mostly forms of flutter spoons. But for the silver's once the waters start to turn you have to put your gear where the temperatures are. I found that once I got a subtroll my silver catch rate increased phenomenally. Every boat fishes different and all people use different methods rather suits them and their fish catching. Just start playing and pay attention on here to what other people are doing. Also note some days that spoon will take shots one day20 foot off the ball and won't get touched until you change it to fifty the next.... [ Post made via Android ]
