Tom, A friend of mine uses chamberlins. They work decent. But im stuck on the blacks. Why change..Ya know.. But one benefit the Chamberlin does give is the fact that when a cheater goes, you know its a release!!
I use the BW1101 8' lights. They pull them great. Also have a couple 9' med for the 300 copper. Works excellent. I use church t-22

Are you putting the line in the release correctly? Are you twisting the line prior? How about enough twists. I usually use 6-8 twists and have never had a problem. The rubber band works great too. Another good release is the Chamberlin.

All of the above. If you wanna find a huge selection of R&R Spoons check out his site or make sure you come to the Troller Flea Market Sunday and visit my booth, Dave from R&R will be right there with me!!
What Jay said. You should be able to Launch right from Watkins Glen or Severne and have luck finding them, and if not, the browns are there too!!!!
Nick
I'll be there! Come check us out at my table. Might be some neat used gear too
Also. If any of you guys are looking for some R&R spoons, Swing by my table. I think we may have a few as Dave will be there with me.
Nick
Good job. We were on south end. Shakedown Saturday. We did about the same numbers. No Lakers though, all browns and land locks Saturday. Yesterday we hit a double grand slam... good weekend for the water though ..

Awesome info. I have planned to do something similar. I think a slight pitch is necessary as well. Except mines goign to bei n the range of 8 foot by 10 foot. hmm. Still have to draw the plans up with numbers.
