Rollie, I agree. I am going to look into charity. and also look into polygraph testing which will get rid of an observer. I am going to plan for a meeting for march 4th. Location TBA. For all who wants too attend I will keep you Updated. As for your rods/person questions. 9 rods will be a maximum. You may fish as many people on your boat as you want. But dec rules will be in effect. 2 guys=6 rods. The nine rod maximum is in effect because there are plenty of boats capable of running 20. This will keep it fair for the smaller guys as well. Im looking forward to this and really want to make this happen. So far we have one tackle shop on board I believe. Maybe we can get some lure companies to jump on and support us FLX guys too. Nick

I dont think it will be enough. For some reason I almost want to think you couldnt even fit a full ten colors with no backing... I use the Daiwa 47LC's and Okuma Magda Pro 45dx. They work great. I have a full 10 colors on my 45 with about 200 yards of backing.

Thanks Guys. In my old sea ray I had, the engine was updated with a 350 EFI and it had the remote setup. Also, the filter was mounted upside down. NO MESS! I miss that setup. ON my trophy, every time Makes a mess. Takes longer cleaning it up than it does changing the oil!! A relocator kit will make it SO much easier.

Well, With the 320, I think you would be fine if you put a 5-7 color on it. I have all from a 3-12. When summer hits, I use 5-12. With 5 picking me up a lot of bows and browns. You can always let out a little extra backing to get that extra couple of feet. I do not have any 320's set up for LC, but i do have a copper set up on a 320. And thats a 100 Copper. Works pretty good. Let us know what ya come up with. nick

I see where youre coming from Mike but who said obervers had to be fisherman? They will need to be licensed sure.. Of course. The weigh in location might not have transit slips howver a lot of local marinas do. All boats can leave from any marina on the south end. This is where the observer is going to be perfect and make this fair!! But we will all be sitting on the lake near the breakwall. When the horn blows!! OPEN THE FOUR BARRELS UP!!
