  1. Had my Last two trips of the year. Saturday had some clients back for their third trip of the year from PA!!! These people are great and are fun to take fishing. It took some time but once we found them we got into some fish. The lake was glass so I would like to think that that and the cold fronts made it slow. We Fished Glenora area.. Slow then headed south east towards Watkins and found some winners. Boated 14 fish and some really nice bows. Most fish were Browns with two lakers.. Sunday, Had a late call saturday for a trip. Sure why not!! The weather was perfect today. Slight wind from south, eventually dimminishing to glass. Started off in the same spot as we finished daturday. Hit two browns on 12 color and 5 color. Got slow for a while then hit two lakers on the wires. Almost a double. We hit one nice LANNY down 95 on a mag spoon. And then another lanny on a 3 color. Did 16 fish today. With only 6 being kept. All fish were keepers except one 5 inch landlock. As we were picking up we hit one Very nice healthy bow. We put her back. All browns have beautiful Color and no marks. Great day on the water!! Of course, the fishing is turning back on on Seneca and my boat is pulled in two days!!!
  2. Well, I called off the trip for today's guys but they insisted on fishing. What was supposed t o be nasty really wasn't. Took time but we hit some fish. Managed a grand slam. With a quality bow and salmon. Very few fish on south end. Had to travel a bit. All in all a good day. [ Post made via Android ]

We had an excellent day with fish hitting the deck from sunrise til noon when we quit. We hit a grandslam. Boated around 20 fish with some bigger salmon and lakers than the norm. One small brown,,guys had a blast. they posted some videos on youtube. search reel stories fishing charters Monday- Cold front. Had some return clients in the downpour! Did one bigger brown about 6 lbs. SLOW went 1 for 5. Tuesday- again returning clients went out with three boys, and the dad and grand dad. They had a blast. went 3 for 8. But the kids smiling was worth it all. They managed a brute of a laker. Here is a pic.

  13. Decided to head out after work. Had Cody meet me at the dock. started fishing aroun 4:30.. Trolled north at the uusual spot. Hit a nice rainbow in the first ten minutes, then it was slow. Moved around, followed bait.. Started seeing marks down 100. Sent a rigger down 120 to work below the bait balls. Told cody we would start packin up about 6:30 or so.. But bring one rod in at a time just in case.. Well, wrapping up the dipsy leaders the rigger fires at 120 foot... decent lake trout.. release her, as i finish wrapping up the other codys bringing in the spoon dipsy, and wham, the port rigger starts slammin. cheater! i yelled, wound on that fast then felt the rod get reallly heavy... would'nt ya know 2 fish on..laker on the bottom spoon and rainbow on the cheater .. all 3 fish came when sun started to tuck behind west hill.. always does, but i didnt wanna close the boat up in the dark on a week night.. went four for five.. 2 bows and 2 lakers.. nice evening... thanks guys Nick [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  16. Well, Friday the buckets striked again, even though I had a trip at 3:30 pm, I didnt want to tbe at work anymore. I Got to the lake and hung out for a bit. Clients showed up on time and we hit the water. Ran north. No sooner than we set up, We hit fish. Stingers did the job for us again. Meanwhile two FF hits. out 260, white/green dot spinnie. We hit all species but lacked a brown for the grand slam. Lost two bigger sized bows at the back of the boat. For the bows we did Land, Clients honored our goal at one bow per trip to help build this beautiful species back to where it was years ago. We fished til 7:30. Finished with 9 qulity keepers, and ended with 12 for 18. They wannted to be the ones to set the hook. After loosing 4, they decided that wasnt a good idea Water temps were good on average 35-45 foot down. But there were sudden changes where temps were 60 down. Sarurday, the calm before the storm. Clients were Bright and early. We hit the water at 6 am and ran north again. This time I set up at where we finished Friday, took about 10 minutes and we hit fish. I was suprised that the bait had not moved nor did the fish. Justin and I parked everything where it was the day prior. These guys were great. They Loved every fish that hit the deck. We got a nice laker to start the day and had every fish in the boat on this day. GRAND SLAM, but the brown was the size of a coffee mug. Perfect eaters on the landlocks. Nice thick fillets for these boys. We hooked up with two good bows, one on a rigger and one on a cheater on the rigger. Both times they hit the surface faster than we could reel. The one we got to see tail dance alot before being ten foot from the net and SPIT... Cant land'em all.. Finished at 10 am. with 9 boxed and a total of 13 for 16.. mag wires parked at 215 and 260 High wire at 255. Riggers 66,77, and 30-60 depending on temps. 5 color cores took majority of bows friday, and 12 color core took salmon and lakers. 200 copper hit the brown and a few salmon. Pics to come Until next time, tight lines.

  19. Well I was at work this morning and had a big case of the buckets(use a ryhming word). So i decided to leave at ten am when the rain let off. I went home packed lunch and dinner and drove to the lake. It was beautiful. Not even a breeze. Went out to try this new rod rule out. Lake turned. I can see bottom in 50 foot and Surface was 53 and 30 down was 42. Cruised around in search of bait, each time i found it i hit a landlock. Lost a few on the cheaters too when i went in shallow in search for browns. Headed in at 230 to get Mike(iron Duck aka duke). Got some gas, and headed back out. Ran north, wasnt long and we hit a few more salmon then wham, release, Shooting up to the surface was a 4-5 lb bow:) netted her. We didnt stay here long, As i was scouting for a trip i have the next 2 days. Hit the east side over 250-350 fow. Bait and fish are stacked. We hit some good salmon. Out of nowhere, mike decides to feed seagulls. Meanwhile at our backs, a rod has fired with a 6 lb Landlock..Go figure. We get her to the net. Got a few more good oens after that. Michigan Stingers of course. One ff hit today. Leadcore, riggers, wire spoon. heres mikeys fish Tight Lines Guys, See ya on the water
