  3. this is funny...The prefishing rule was dumb..I believe they meant to say no weighing in prefished fish...?
  4. yeah, i have tracks, but i suppose if you were to pull the thumb screw out and use a machince screw and nut, you could do it..but i, not sure if i would use them for dipsys this way. The tracks take all the pressure.... they sell Short tracks? 6 inches?
  5. good report, didnt pull the ol' bill dance and jump in? Sunday evening when i left my slip, i wa walking to my car, and the entire tree was humming with those Bees, must be the time of year!!
  6. good report Jason. I do as Sean and Robert, I use Okuma Blue Diamond wire line Specials..9 foot. with all rollers and tekotas. I wind my swivels right tot he end, one to avoid the curls and two to avoid kinks. I tell everyone on the boat, dipsys get wound right till ya cant wind anymore. I get funny looks, but i dont lose and gear since i started it. I also have noticed thaat my wires since using the tekotas, run smoothero n and off the spool. My gl 47s sucked for that...I got alot of curls for some reason..might just be me?
  7. Hey duke, get on the water, 40 ft down I have 52 at the ball.... 75 foot i hat 48 today:)

  9. I had the same issue with my Merc 350 5.7 EFI. Come to find out, little zebra messels made their way into a 3 week old impellor and ruined it. Had to pull the boat to get it redone. My volvo 350 (current) is doint the same, except its not overheating it is just opening later on the stat. I believe it is sticking and I purchased a new stat for her this past week. Listen to Hank though, He knows his stuff and is a great guy. I still owe ya Hank!
  10. MY BAD! Sorry Second Chance
  11. Dave, what is the new asking price?

  15. 4.82 Laker, its theo nly one i weighed, i guess sometimes i think too much about returning the fish into the water... Justin and I lost a big salmon at the back of the boat, by far was on of the biggest ive seen this year...Came up under the dipsy and the wire sliced it like mono! Get er next time!!
  16. Hey Guys, this boat looks great! Seen in in action and in person many times. Worth the look!! Capt. Nick [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  17. ill sell my drill kit for half of what i paid!! 25 bucks!!
  18. thanks hank. I will order one of those. And the ones with the motor and pump ar mounted almost like in a box with a tank. My marina (in tight with mechanics) let me use theirs once last year, it pumped out my engine oil in less than a minute.. Flip the switch and it pumped it back out of the holding tank into a waste tank in the same amount of time..
  19. pictures catch an eye, but a price might set the hook! PRICE??
  20. I use a drill style pump for my engine oil..it sucks..take forever to get it going, even with a new impeller. Anyone use the other style with the built in motor and waste tank? If so what brand and is it reliable? Thanks Nick
  21. Tony Salerno @ Great Lakes Planers 315-649-2589 is awesome and can go from boat to boat with you. fully adjustable and add on at any time!! take a peek I love this unit and even though mine is mounted on my arch, all i need is different brackets to put on a hard top or anything of the sort... Him and his wife are great people!!
  22. Jon, i had an 88 trophy hardtop, with the aq125 and a 270 outdrive, mine topped put at 22 mph on a good day..not a fast boat but was heavy and took waves great. good luck
  23. this is seneca lake, rain or shine!! And to make it fair, were trying the shotgun start for a reason, to make it fun and fair for everyone. Cooler checks will be in order. Its going to be a big deal, and there will be more at a later date. We will work and try to make it fair for all, but at the same time, the prize ceromony will be at weigh in at one time, so you must be present to win.
