  5. went out both morning and evening, strong winds made tough fishing earlier on, the screens were lit but nothing would fire did 5 fish. Went back out in the evening ran form watkins to smith park area. dropped lead cores back, then the wires, didnt even getr the hands off wires and they fired. for an hour it was constant action. Lost one big fish due to a leader failure then lost another on the next hookup. two flasher fly rigs, donated to the lake, if you cath it i wouldl ike it back:) the fish are ther, in 100 fow i think the lakers are ready to start spawning soon. SPUNKY and hungry. Also in the morning, i figured i would just play around, i dropped dw spinnie glow blue with an atomic aqua down the the 140 foot mark over 175 ft of water, ya definately pulled a laker., that was fun from that deep. might just of been the last trip "KEOKE" makes under my name. 9. We, "justin" my bass man joe, and little RJ (marina rat) hit the water last night for some evening fishing, and to have some laughs. of course, the wind switched direction and brought all of the seaweed back down to us:( well, we had putt around for a while the screen was lit with fish and bait everywhere!!!!! with the wind switch i think they had lock jaw, then suddenly, we doubled up in front of the painted rock on the wire and rigger. Both flasher fly, with the mtn dew and the blue glow flasher with an atomik hammer fly. both of which were quite deep. 90 at the rigger. i was at 100 when i saw a fish on the screen about 10 foot up, ran to the back of boat and brought rigger up instantly and as soon as i readjusted the rod, WHAM!!! Fish on, halfway throught the fight the wire fires on same side of boat!! doubles!!!!! well thats all we did was a 7.5 and a 4.5 lb fish! slow but fun with the double and laughs. Justin is now bloody, hope his wife isnt mad at me!! be out sunday AM again!! P.S my boats for sale guys Come on!!!

  11. well, today justin, jim, and i hit the water at 630, jim was late...We started of on the west side heading north from tiki bar, screen looked good, surface temp was 53.7 degrees! withint 10 minutes out first rod fires. From then on til about 930-10 it was solid action withf ish on the wire and riggers, even the 4 and 5 color cores were hot!!!! The cores were striking hard, hardest ive seen all season. we had a mixed bag today of lakers, LL's and one rainbow(size of the spoon), Our biggest was a 7 or so laker. We had dun, once the wind picked up, the fishing did the opposite, of course all the new lures i just bought, fired! Lets just say the NK;s and the Stingers were hot! From the white on white pro troll, to the wonderbread/bugeye fly to the black pearl! I had fun and i am sure they did with the ball bustin! Overall was about 13 for 15. All fish released. This is the best it has been since red cross weekend, fish are moving south! There was bait, heavy off of hector..justin says its a repeat of last yr? water temp again was 53 in watkins, 70 at lodi state park area.. tight lines to all

  15. When i was in Sodus Bay this weekend, i saw a trophy for sale at Krenzer Marine. I noticed this was one they had listed for a long time. Has anyone looked at this boat? I think it would be an awesome fishing boatwith some TLC and a GOOOOOD Cleaning. The price is cheap. Hull and stuff was solid and the fighting deck is huge with a nice size cabin too....two luxurys in one, like my sea ray.. Any pros and cons to this boat?
