  1. hahahaha, thats great, i just see it sitting there, all weathered, and snow filled, and the inside is a mess. that boat sat bow down throgh snow and rain 2 months ago for a week, i imagine it had a bit of water in the cabin by that point, the trailer jack snapped right off the tounge due to the weight i think. its a sharp rig, but if they said 25 to me, i would chuckle and accidently hang up
  2. still gotta mount it, i need to make some spacer plates, picking up the material tuesday, going to teak them up nice to match the rest of the boat.
  3. If i go out, youre more than welcome. Also, every sat/sunday, i always look for ppl to come fishing. And i mean every sat and sunday!! from april til october
  4. Sean, i can hook you up. i make wiring harness' everyday for equipment, im sure we can make one for you.
  5. not til the second weekend of april. , the first week, it will be with "canvas solutions", getting a whole new canvas made, with camper back and all, and a toneua cover for the long hauls! Im excited, its gonna be time before i know it. I might take it out the weekend before just to do some fishing tho!
  6. It was a chilly day today, but was dry, and i had off, just figured i would share some info, its nice to see the boat come out of her shell. I installed my new onboard battery charger, cleaned out a heck of alot of things i had no idea were even in the engine compartment. Also, i set the Rocket launcher in place, i was nervous it wouldnt work at all bc it came off another boat, but it sits on the boat perfect!!!!!Just gotta move the fill port and im good to go! Anyone else get any work done this weekend? Lets see it!
  7. agreed, btw, you gotta see my arch on the boat! looks MEAN!
  8. Chowder, are you thinking as in a negative impact?
  9. i heard someone talking about the stix producing fish real well the past couple weeks. fast or slow?
  10. depends on what youre using them for, i think they are a neat setup if youre doing something along the lines of drift fishing or something like that...
  11. yes there were a few ppl out, i got a call from my friend, at about 730. he said he was hitting alot of fish. all LLs and lost a nice one while fussing with the net, ended up running into him at seneca marine, he limited out and then some. all fish hit on the turns he said. while in "flutter", he gave the fish to Bill.. 3 1/2 weeks til i get mine on the water!! tight lines to ya, nick
  12. see ya there!
  13. Hey there, there is one in watkins glen, ny well, the neighboring town, but it is set up for fishing, and has a kicker motor as well..nice looking boat. As to what shakesman said..why would you want a fishing boat not to fish?
  14. Nicks Is where my outdrive was assembled on my bayliner that i had, the seals blew out on the unit and smoked the drive!
  15. i run both, depends on what kind of approach youre looking for too, stealthy is a board scenario, plus you can stack lines on the boards, i like my riggers just as equally.
  16. i can bring up the electrical kit an we can tinker with it...
  17. Big Dave
  18. Anyone looking to fish in the rain this weekend? If so, looking for a mate? ill pitch in for anything..
  19. i personally like roller rods with the use of copper, and the twilli tips with wire. I run my wire on 9ft Okuma Classic's, and my copper on 6'6" Penn roller rods. They seem to work great.
  20. rain, rain, and more rain, warm i think
  21. its gonna rain, dress dry! good luck and let us know how it goes...
  22. i run interstates marine/deep cycle, also, what motor do you have, te gentleman who shares a dock with me at the marina has a 150hp mercury, and it will only start on 100% battery power. if there is so mch an drop in juice it will not fire. He keeps solar chargers on the boat at all times
