Lol, but location on fleas makes a difference, try the opposite side of lake you're on, the fleas were almost non existent. Fewer marks of fish. It's been in waves, last week was lots of eels, not one today... also, I've botched higher concentration of eels when I've found pockets of higher concentration of rainbows. Relation? I run 40 lb andes line, with 10 lb leaders. Fleas very minimal. save the money on the flea line... Brown trout fishing this time of year is excellent, especially if you were where i think you were. Keep it up. There LOTS of them in that class there.. Making your stories, Reel Stories, since 2011!!

The die off was related to a parasite attacking the gills of bait. Mostly alwives. I have ran over 20 charters this season already on seneca, and i have had great success on 95 percent of the trips this year. Last year the catch ratio was very low. This year, I would say it has tripled. 5 years ago, this lake was amazing. I personally believe it's getting better... but I am just one guy. .. Making your stories, Reel Stories, since 2011!!

Was out today, had a trip, yeaterday as well. Fish were there, but a bit tougher for us.. managed a few quality fish today. One smaller scale bow and a few short bites. Gambler rig was our producer. I have 4 trips this weekend, I will be out, if you're out, just give me a shout and I can give ya a what and where's working if I'm into them. Been doing quite well on seneca. The rave is on for cayuga, but there's just as many slow days there as anywhere. Where do you plan on launching? Downsize the leaders for spoons. Stingers and similar action spoons have been working good. Riggers parked at 35 to 55 for bows, browns has been great. Occasional salmon mixed in. Fleas are preventing cheaters from working successfully. Flasher fly bite has been slow, Gambler Rigs fished behind dodgers and cowbells has prevailed. Good luck. I have zero interference with my x4, I run a garmin at the helm with a thruhull transducer mounted midship, and a garmin mounted at the transom with that transducer mounted directly on next to the x4 ducer on the transom. I think people could have other possibilities as I was told fish finders should never interfere with the hawk readings. I would start with checking for proper grounding to the water and such. Even on the fingers, the x4 will help increase your catch. Currents and temps are moving here just as much up there. Making your stories, Reel Stories, since 2011!!
