  3. Depends. I do both and even some other tricks. There's days it works great and days they will not touch it.. But days it's a struggle, that's my main go to. Fresh is best. Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. Go with the 25. My shaft on the Honda I just installed was 27" change. I think Honda calls it a 28. But I am glad, it worked perfectly, a little more water would of been nice under the motor but, I didn't wanna sacrifice my swim platform as we use our boat for fun filled adventures other than fishing. Here's a shot at our setup. Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I've never thought thought of using a meat rig on seneca. Hmmm. Gonna have to go shopping:blink:>_> Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. You can use the bait where you catch it, just can't transport it... So, it's almost like salt life. Gotta start your day catching bait then go fishing! Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Again. How often do you venture tot he south end Les. Just curious. The bait is plentiful. Exactly as you described. So much of it last season that we were winding intods with 4 out of 10 had sawbellies stuck on hooks. Rods dancing through schools. From 20' of water to bottom I'm 125'. Bait. And more of it. DEC bait sampling takes place in Geneva. In early may. There is 37 miles of lake that isn't being sampled.. I've spoke with Brad about this.. I've filled him in. Because they only sample one spot on the lake for bait, it determines there efforts for future stocking, and reduced the numbers drastically over the past ten years... The fact they stocked fish in the fall and spring is a good thing. I don't quite know the numbers for this spring, but I do know there were browns and Lakers put in. I hope some Atlantic's were too. 17. Don't over think it. The baits there. Last summer proved it. Waters cold. It will change! Can't wait. When it warms up a bit. Game on. Nice report. Be on the north end very soon! Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
