  10. got out sat. morning with my kids, and dangerous dave. we started around hector and trolled north. fished for an hour with no action, then picked a nice salmon( 7lbs.) on the rigger at 90' on a dw spoon. continued to pick away at a mix of lakers, and a few L.L.s. As i got farther north toward clearer water things slowed down, so we turned back to the south. on the way back we continued to pick away at lakers and one more L.L. We did manage a double, then banged another before i could reset. We fished from 8-12:00ish. Went 12-12 overall. talked with Jason on the cell, he was killen them farther north of us. program of greens and yellow spinnies and flies, and dw and stinger spoons all took fish. wire out at 280, and 300. riggers deep at 110, 90 ft. i'd tell you the names of the spinnies and flies, but i'm no good remembering names...

  14. my daughter and i didn't believe the weather man so we went fishing. it rained on the way to the lake, but stopped when we got there. then the fog rolled in... we started up the east side with riggers and wire/dipseys but couldn't move a rod. switched over to the east side, and with a tip-off from a fellow lou member finaly got some action. had doubles on the wire rigs twice, and picked a few on the riggers as well. spinnies and flies did most of the work but d.w. spoons and a nk picked some too. ended up 8-8, all lakers 4-6 lbs. couldn't find any of those nice salmon. over all a great day out on the lake with the little one p.s. Thanks Nick

  18. fisrt of all, hello to all you fellow fisherman. it was a long cold winter, but spring 2011 is here! i took the family on a nice cruise through the carribean on sring break for some much needed R&R, but now its time to get serious and fish! my daughter and I hit the water around 8:45 monday morning on the south end of cayuga pulling sticks behind boards. the whole end of the lake looked like chocolate milk, so after a couple hours of no action we decided to follow jennings upto toughannock. only managed one laker on a spinnie/fly with 240ft. of wire out. trolled down to meyers pt. where we took a nice brownie off the rigger down 40ft. over 120fow. only other fish was a small L.L. south of meyers. just three fish for the day, but it was good to get on the water. boat and equip. worked well, exept for my washdown pump must have froze and cracked over the winter. I also am having issues with my auto pilot. seems to be the compass doesn't want to work. I'll be on the horn with simrad about that. Until next time, safe fishing everyone. Dave
  19. WOW. that sounds like a fly-by-night used car dealer move, not something a major corp. would pull. be sure to blast them on facebook/twitter or any other social network you are on, they really dont like that. I know it doesnt help with the business, but you are always welcome aboard my boat.
  20. Yo j glad to hear you're gettin off to a good start. Mines almost ready to go. Just got to figure what's wrong with my auto pilot. I'm off mon. & tues. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
