You don't always have to catch a BIG fish to have fun

I took a friend from work who's never been on a boat , let alone been fishing, plus our daughters to t-falls. We went south from the park and set up in 100 fow. Riggers at 65 with a pro troll and fly, and a spoon stacked above that. 2nd rigger was 55 and stacked 45. Both stinger spoons. Worked 60-100 fow all the way down to the yacht club. Picked up 5-6 small salmon, and one that was 2-3 lbs. Headed back north working deeper water. We did manage a few decent lakers on the wire divers pulling sd and flies , set out 250. The lake picked up and one of the girls started getting sea sick, so we packed up and headed in around noon.. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Well I hit the water at around 6:00. Marked a few fish trolling east and west on the south end, but no takers. Headed north on the west side and hit a salmon by the tiki bar on a green spoon at 55 down over 115 fow. He jumped 4 times before I could net him. In the cooler it went. Continued north for a while, no fish blank screen. Turned around and headed back south. Marked a little bait out deeper, but no bites. Worked my way around to the canal and pointed it north right up the middle. Fished for a while north, then turned back south. Hit another salmon on the south troll over 185 fow. Same spoon at 55 fow. That one jumped twice and came unhooked. 10:30 packed up and came home. Had salmon on the grill for lunch.. Think I'm heading to t-falls over on Cayuga tomorrow... Years ago I only fished Cayuga, no where else, then I spent the last few years on seneca. It was nice to get some fish on my old stomping grounds. It's a little farther drive, but I wanna fish right where I launch. My main motor has been giving me some issues , so I really don't want to run up or down the lake. I had my son, and a good friend of mine who is new fishing. He had a blast, kept telling me how beautiful the lake was , and caught his personal biggest fish. I think he's hooked...🎣 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I fished t-falls to rocky dock last night. I run 20lb flea flicker and had no problems at all. Did see a trace on the wire divers, but they take care of them selves. Sounds like it's worse farther north. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

First off, I would like to say hello and thank you to all who post reports. I have not fished since the end of May! It's been a treat to read the reports and keep somewhat current to what's happening on the water!👠now it's my turn... After not fishing Cayuga in 2 years I decided it was time. We launched from t-falls at 4:30ish and headed north. Set the riggers at 75 with a green pro troll and fly, and stacked a spoon 10ft. above. The other rigger was 60, and stacked at 50, both spoons. Dipseys were out 240 and 260. I waited to put the cores. The fist hour was dead, but by the time we hit Kingstown it was game on. First laker in the boat was over 10lbs. It was a steady pick from then on. 150fow, all the way out to the middle produced fish. We turned around near rocky dock and picked fish all the way back. At the Boy Scout camp the spoon stacked above the ff started peeling drag!! A beautiful 6-7 lb bow landed. We finished the evening with a salmon in front of t-falls. We ended up 10-13. All rods caught fish, never put out the cores. I have 20lb flea flicker on all my poles, fleas were no issue. I did kill one giant eel!! Biggest one I've ever caught.. All fish were released, and swam away strong. 🻠Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I spoke with a guy at the launch, said he owned seneca bait before billy bob, anywAy, he said something about the salt plants.... Last year they changed regulations about how much salt they can discharge back into the lake. He said they increased the rates by quite a bit. Anyone know anything about that, or potential impacts? Last time out, Memorial Day. We fished the south end 50 out to 180. West side of the lake had lots of crap on the surface. Not marking much of anything anywhere .. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
