Same here too off sandy! This guy tryed flying out of the water 3 times trying to get high enough to get up on the boat and failed. Thanks Bill, it was a great morning I had a couple of my old slower hounds out running and it was great listening those old boys chase! The best part of the morning was to hear your young son scored on a beautiful yote and another young Hunter was with him and is now sold on coyote hunting!!! Time to rest the hounds again! They been running real hard with this great running weather. They ran 5 yotes in the last couple of days alone. One of the runs were a pair(started off with 3) that stuck together for many of miles all the way from the town of Hamlin and into Hilton before we pulled hounds off before they got in trouble with traffic and houses! The yote rut is in full swing! We jumped a pack of three yotes and and after 4 1/2 hours of running 2 of the 3 didn't make it. At first the hard part was getting a clear shot without a hound in the way the males were so close to the yote. Then after the first went down I put in the females in and they driving hard even sight chasing accrost Sandy Creek in a rather deep spot before I was able to terminate him a mile or so later.
