  3. Hey anyone, I dont know how to winterized my boat and I wanted to learn how to do it. I dont want to give store to winterized it because it is cost me $230 for it. I know it is worth it but I wanted to have someone to come up and explain me how to do it so i can keep it in my mind for future. My boat is I/O motor so I have completely no knowledge how to do winterize for it. Can anyone explain me what i need to do and what kind of winterize fogger, antifreeze, and etc for on my i/o boat? I would appreciate if someone willing take their several hours to help me out on that issue. I'll willing pay little extra for you.
  4. Aw ****! hopefully, your boat is still fine..
  5. I caught this salmon in last Sunday! it is weight at 27lbs and 40 incher!
  6. Salmons are definitely around Genny river right now, using pink plastic lure (grubs or small worms) on drop shot. also, spoon working fine too. If you need any info about anything, feel free to ask me, and just PM me. P.s. Thank for your service for us. We really thank you for it.
  7. Zach - haha.. sure, you can tag along sometimes.. but most of time, i tend to get lucky.. then pick up the skills from all lucky i got. so i can understand which lake or each fish's behaviors in each lakes.. since all fish is different and different location. so i still have alot to learn about it. Like you do, catching musky is like easy for you to catchin them. since you understand where to target and where they will be at during spring, summer, and fall.. while i dont even know where to begin with or which location to start with. but after read your post, i think i can understand where to start with and which location. all i have to is go fishing there and start to working on it. I'm just like to try understand most of them and i enjoy to target them all. since fishing is fishing. Its fun! im strictly catch and release person. it is like fish fever!
  8. Gill-t - oops, my bad, i didnt pay attention to the name of it. thanks for info!
  9. My roommate wanted to go out fishing today with me, i was planning scout for salmon areas but end up decide to go bass fishing with him. we went to my favorite hole for bass. end up, he banged two pikes while i caught nada. He bragged at me that it is 2-0 against me. then he admit that he was lucky to have a guide.. what nice of him! here is one of pike that he took picture of it. his first pike caught on rod. another than that, it was been windy day.. Keep fishing!
  10. HAHA.. the salmon that pikehunter was holding, it was 32 pounds taken out of summer loc derby. definitely beauty fish!
  11. oh no wonder, its okay. I would suggest you to look at website called www.collegefishing.com since they have roster for each college that played in tournament.. if you dont see the list of college that you want to go, thats mean, that college dont have fishing club set up yet or never will be. so look it up.. hope it helps! I dont blame you for dont want to go rit.
  12. yes, i am on the RIT BASS CLUB. you can feel free to ask us anything about it. I'll ask our president of bass club to discussing with you about that community service in your place. To me, its sound like fun but im not sure what our president will react to it. but I'll glad to let him know if you have some questions.
  13. jkarol24 - thats would be awesome if you went! sorry about that. Also, that place is an hour away from me since i live in Rochester. You could go along with me sometime if you want to participate some of tourney at later. Just feel free to PM me. Yeah, it was great event. I hope this tourney will host sometime soon at this year. But I heard it wont be one until next year unless something pop up soon. but in the end, it was good experience.
  14. Friend and i was going fishing this morning and stayed there for 3 hours. caught 40 carps and countless catfishes! very amazing day to fishing today! Biggest one was 21 pounds carp. unfortunately, friend and I lost our phone into water. so we lost everything on it! big sucks for us but it didnt take away our fun day to keep reel reeel reeeell for 3 hours for many fishes that been caught!
  15. Tournament was going well! fishing was awesome in that river. Alot of pike and bass hitting and missing. Several of people managed to caught them. I placed second by .05 inch behind Corey Smith. Awesome day to fishing! I caught 11 bass but none bigger than 14.4 inch bass that placed second place. look forward to going up there again next year! here is the link if you want to look at. http://www.nybass.com/showthread.php?44 ... TOURNAMENT
  16. We went to another secrets hole for carp fishing. we are fishing for 2 hours. It was amazing day with 90 degree and sunny! We caught 14 carp out of 20plus something. But random caught was catfish! around 2-3 pounds! we was using bread and corn for baits. everything was on the hook. we had to bam the rod fast once we saw them attack the bait. orwise we will lost the fish. Anyway, no monster size carp being caught or being seen on surface. here is my fish picture that being caught today. I didnt took all picture of them. Interesting story, I invited my roommate that being dying to learn how to fishing. Ironically, he never knew how to fish right way once in his lifetime. even through he caught several sunfish and one bass in his lifetime. enough of convinced him to buy his first fishing pole. he asked me that he want to catch first fish that weight biggest than his fish in lifetime. in which it was bass that weight 2 pounds. so you guys know what happen next when he fishing along with me. I told him to cast over that little brunch stick that strike out of water. so he did it, boom! big splashing at everywhere. now, he bagged it at 10pounds carp! now, he is hooked fishing for life. His several casts after first carp, he is quickly learner! 7-8 pounds carp. also, another friend of mine, wanted to tag along with me to see how good i am.. but that was strange enough because he caught 2-3pounds catfish sametime as my roommate caught his second carp. Now, day is done. looking forward for bass/pike tourney on the kayak to support the injury military in waterloo at tomorrow! also, going to salmon river at Owesgo on sunday! keep fishing!! and good luck to guys who fishing this weekend!
  17. allright big-o i definitely will come up over there someday but not this year. i'm in little tight budget cuz of college. but i'll make sure i'll contact you before im coming up there.
  18. AWW ****! i almost pooped myself when i saw this!! Congrats on that hog!! im definitely going up there sometime this weekend!!
  19. Great catch!!
  20. that's awesome season for ya! I wish i could have something like that happen to me. I doubt it since im college students. maybe in several years later in the future! Congrats on your catch! i always loved to fishing for stripers..
  21. thats sound like awesome thing to do but there are alot of pro and cons.. hopefully, they will be leaned to more of pros so we can look forward to breaking 50 barrier in lake ontario! if they can do that why arent they do that to sunfish, bass, catfish! it will be definitely more interesting to catch them all day with monster size fish! more fun for me and alot positive for charter captain if they taken out fishing for them! so let wait and see what happen from there!
  22. Happy Birthday Mark! i feel like little irony because that name is same as mine! anyways! have great one!!
  23. Gambler - thank for much info! i'll try to catch them if i could find them. but i have one in my sight now. however, that one carp is definitely above 30pounds but uncertain for now. since i knew fish look bigger in water while get fish out of water is smaller. so i think it might be grass carp, not common carp. Hardly to tell from 15-20 feet away from me. even though water max is less 2-3 feet deep. hopefully i can catch that one at this weekend!
  24. big-o - thank for advices. i'll try to get a chance to hook up one of those monster carp sometime soon hopefully. if not, then i'll wait until spring before they doing some of those thing..
  25. stinger - i looked up on google, it wasnt that fish. it was definitely grass carp from what big-o showing pictures to me. It is exactly one i caught it. but thank for your help!
