Sunday ....finish up with 15 lake trout and a few short LL and a rain bow for the grill . we trolled north out of deans with the same results as Reel Doc only had 2 fish boated by 7 30 am. i put the TD fish hawk down on the rigger to 100 ft and was surprise to find temp was warm down to 70 fow when yesterday was cold after 40 fow . so we went to the east side to a few way points looking some big lakers but they seem to have no fish on them . kept trolling south to long point and and started marking fish but no takers decided to turn north put the kicker on a low rpm and let the waves do the work . in 140 to 150 fow Game on L L , bows , lake trout all the way to the first point by Aurora . cowbells and spin glows with MI spoons on rig rods did a number on the fish after 9 30 . we called it a day at 11 30 and i was amazed how well be did in 2 hrs

using the down riggers , I make my distance behind the down rigger weight 100 ft especially when fishing high in the water column. Run 30 lb mono step down to a 15 lb fluorocarbon leader about 8 feet. I was using UV spoons today being a bright sunny day. Running a 8 ft 15 lb fluorocarbon cheater free sliding. My GPS speed was around 2.2 to 2.8 Fishhawk Down Speed was reading 2. 2 to 2.4 . I was concentrating on Silvers and i was picking small Lakers at this speed. When I slowed the boat down to 1.8 to 2.0 GPS speed My Fish Hawk what is reading 1. 6 to 1.8 . I like using Michigan Stinger spoons moonshine's flt spoons .suttons work really well also. I run my Chinook divers with a spin doctor UV flies or pro troll and UV flies today I tried keeping them up high didn't do so well. At the end I dropped my gispy to 100 ft deep hit my biggest Laker . Drunk people and fireworks don't mix. Every year something goes wrong celebrating the 4th I don't think the private sector should be able to have fireworks. I'm sorry for you and your other Marine boaters . Hope you get it all back together soon. Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I've been to Myers Park numerous times I've never launch my boat there but it's a pretty busy little port. Being it's going to be a beautiful weekend I would say it's going to be busy Sent from my XT1609 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
