    i set my boat with a panther kicker bracket . it is rated for a 35 horse four stroke my kicker is a 8 horse tohatsu . i broke the backing pad . i made my own backing pad out of 1/4 aluminum and 1 3/4 oak . panther did replace the backing pad but don't trust it

    he said it has 5.7 L think that be a 350 chevy. i have a crestliner sabe same thing as the lung above these boats will take a lot of rough water with wide beam high sides . great boat to fish from.

    why run braid when you can set a wire rod with twirly tips you have . wire will out last braid and works much better with the fleas .

    as the above post said , fish hawk runs on 77 hz sonars run 50 / 200 and 83 /200 hz for the most part .

    i fished with a guy from work that would take dramamine and drink a large energy drink. he said it work for him . my good buddy that i fish with now is hit and miss . so when i know its going to be rough i offer him non drowsy dramamine witch he won't take and at times he ends up blowing his chocolate milk and cookie over the rail. sometimes he can heck it out other times i have to call it a day and bring him in . i was always lucky high/ bad water didn't bother me . as i got old and on meds now i sometimes get vertigo so i don't take the meds until after fishing for the day . i never heard of the sea bands . i looked them up and going to get a couple sets . i'm sure my buddy wont try them as he is a manly man and rather puke ..

    May to June, Wilson to the bar is a very good place to be . definitely be a mix bag of fish there . i believe your gear you have would work fine for a a couple times a year . probably bump up your leaders tho . depending on the time of may your there the LOC derby is going on and the pro am derbies . the other boats on the lake will give an ideal what water to fish . i would say run riggers, dipsy , and cores of your in line boards . flasher / fly , spoons , sticks . if after lake trout cow bells with spin & glows. Captain Bob Songin ( Reel Excitement Charters ) is on face book and give A good fishing report . remember tho the tournaments are going on, so at times reports get a little tight lip . Good luck to you , oh one other thing you be making more trips in the future as you will be putting some nice over the rail , it dose gets addictive , then comes spending big bucks
