i can see where drones could be a tool to help find down people or chasing some one down on the run . but i can also see ogrob56 point too . i can see the dec just putting them in the air to watch hunters or some one in a boat having a good time . do you want some dam drone zooming in while you are taking a crap in the woods or in a boat with your lady friend. i rather be free american and not have the government watching every thing the honest people do for god shakes ! we should just line up and put a gps / camera in our bodies that report to Cuomo and Schumer

sounds like a new switch would fix the problem, shorting out on fill. pump won't run on fill but the pump runs on auto .
-
if a live well intake failed and water was coming into the boat the bilge would have trouble staying up with the water coming in , but will buy you some time . pick up your lines and put the boat up on plane that will stop the water from coming in the boat . then get it to a beach or trailer . i carry rubber plugs with the wing nuts that will fit in to the intake holes just have go swimming to put them in . or beach the boat

Stone,,, your boat probably has an auto bilge pump switch most boats do . in the case of the boat that went down some thing major failed and there is no bilge pump that can keep up with the amount of water that was coming into their boat . i had this happen to me and buddy this year , i was fishing cayuga on a day that just kept pouring like mad about half way threw the day i notice the yellow light on the dash was on . i knew what it was and look back to see if the bilge was pumping out water , found it wasn't had to take some mechanic wire and fish out the mud bees then all ways good . the cuddy is the worst place you can be when a boat is taken on water , you end up trap inside the cuddy like the guy did . i kept my life jackets with in arm reach from the seats and a buoy ring also .

Geneva stop by to take look at the construction going on at the chamber of commerce . i notice a guy working on something by the launch . had to go over and stick my nose in and see what he was doing . well the rumor i heard is now true . have to pay to launch your boat there . the city residents can get a free pass . all others pay 1 dollar M, T, W , and T, F 2 dollar and weekends is 7 dollar . i guess the building they just did is being rip up to make a boat museum , oh boy yay !

might need some dramamine for that fishing trip . the cold and snow here in New York is not that bad after all ...
-
sad one didn't make it the other two got lucky . there was a small craft advisory with up 20 knots wind . who goes out in a kayak in water like that .

i am no pro but here is my take i think in a couple weeks it will be down to combat trolling off the mouth of the rivers . ( not my cup of tea rather fish the finger lakes )the cold rain and weather this week will pull the salmon in fast now . there will be off shore fishing for steel heads and two year old salmon . this time off year the lake get rough fast with the weather changes. most guys start pulling their boats mid September.

the north launch is open the south one is closed . the north launch road in is a little rough in a short spot .( due to the high water) i can get my saber down the road with no problem.. -
