  1. We plan on fishing tomorrow for lakers . Any ideas where we should head anywhere from the lower river to the Oak is good for us. Thanks for any info. hope the east winds aren't to much for our 19 footer. dam winds!
  2. I read/saw somewhere (Dec.) new findings say we should not move a fish back & forth that it does more harm than good. It is not natural for fish to go backwards & it does not help them to recover. They say just move them in a forward motion only. I guess I/we have been doing it wrong for a long time!
  3. How far behind the ball do you normally run the SD or flashers to get the best action. thanks
  4. Is that pic with the 5 fish from last night? 1 from trolling & 4 from casting sounds like fun except for the dark. lol
  5. What year is that boat? I have a1992 Grady that has always been stored inside. I sure hope it's better than that! It seems fine & strong. How did you find your problem? Yours looks great now good luck!
  6. Stayed with the drum brakes. tore all apart & only found bad wheel cylinders. Replaced them, now only need to bleed the system & will be on the road! Thanks guys for all the good info.
  7. Good info to know, thanks
  8. Has anyone ever switched from hydraulic drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes on their boat trailer ? Is it a real pain ? Does the coupler/actuator need to be changed ? Thanks for any info. on this!
  9. Anyone using this or plan on using this line? It seems pretty nice in their video compared to copper. Any opinions?
  10. If you think about going to the Oak or Niagara /west end with a east or northeast wind Stay home it will be a rough ride.

  17. You may want to ask "fishkiller 16" he may have what you are looking for.
  18. Sounds like a good idea. I wonder if they have any "brother savers". My brother is the only one that ever dropped one of my rods overboard! lol Are they swimming pool noodles or made special for rods? Thanks. Nice looking rides BTW.
  19. I think he's checking the air pressure in that tire! Do your ppl drop a lot of rods overboard seeing all the floats on them?
  20. Update here, Turkeys still coming every Am. We have gained a 3rd. tom, he struts & does his thing but he stays back & off to the side of the original 2 toms & the rest of the flock.
  21. Worked & fished with Pat many years. He pretty much taught me most of what I know about fishing Lake O. & walleye on lake Erie. He loved his fishing & could catch fish when others could not. He will be missed.
  22. Mine is also on the front & works very well. But I do take the rod off when tilling the big motor up.
