    Torpedo 19 strand wire ,can tie knots like in mono & is kink resistant, I just put it on my rods. Don't need any special rod tips either.

    I do keep some bigger ones but prefer the smaller ones . I also trim off all the fat, dark bad tasting parts on all my fish. Also found on the thicker filets I slice them in 1/2 length wise & they are as good as the smaller fish. All tasty morsels!! lol Had some last night!

    Get resistor plugs for sure. Get your correct numbered plugs with an R in the number. Check all grounds for clean and tight.

    Go to lotsa site , they have a pic on the knot to tie. Also can use a surgeons knot and slip your snap through it with a half hitch. On the snap Also google fishing knots

    If you are buying just a xducer go with an airman p 66 . They are better than a lowrance x ducer. I may buy one before summers end. I am sure others here will tell you the same. Jmo

    Do I need to use Yamaha tilt & trim fluid in my yamaha 225 hp tilt & trim unit or can I use something else? Maybe some type of hyd. jack oil, auto transmission fluid or power steering fluid ?? I need to top it off. Any thoughts ? Thanks for any info.

    I have one on the outside. It has the T handle that you turn to expand & tighten it I have never had a problem at all.
