I was just on the web site it doesn't show how to rig them. I thought you had to criss cross the line on them some how. Sounds like the 10 -12 twist is EZ enough !Got it! thanks.
A friend gave me some Romer stacker releases today but I forgot how to use them. I used them 20 yrs ago but can't remember how to rig (old timers) them any tips . Thanks.
Spreheim, I guess read the add figure what you might want to pay for the boat & equipment & make him a fair offer. Hei s not out to screw any one but I guess he doesn,t want to give it away either. If you are interested PM me & I will give you his #'s. Sorry no pics. as of now. Thanks
No offense taken, but the boat itself is in very good condition for its age & has alot of new & good equip. on it. The man is 70yrs. old & doesn't want to bother with it. He didn't plan on getting rid of it.
My buddie has a 20 ft open bow 1985 Sylvan with a CRACKED BLOCK > The boat itself is in very good condition but he does not want to mess with it. It is a 4cyl.(120 hp?) I/O.with an 8hp Yamaha kicker with new plastic gas tank & hose. Both the kicker & the i/o have new water impellers last year.It also has a good shore lander(single axel) trailer under it. He is just wondering if someone might be interested in buying it for Any Fair Offer. It was set up for fishing. Maybe someone out there has a motor laying around they want to sell cheap? Thanks for looking .

At the Catt. the hanover launch has the docks in , you can launch at the state launch but no docks were in as of Tues. am.. You can also launch at the SBH. near Dugs Dive. I fished Tues. am straight out in front of the catt. & off evengola wall, 53-63 fow. good luck!
Reverse the rope end for end or keep the good part & tie something else into the end nearest the rigger cable . I tied in some planner line (4-6") at the cable end & its been working great for a couple yrs. just my $.02
It can happen to the best of us. I had a buddie that threw a wheel chock under his front tire as soon as he got out to load & unload his boat. The boat was heavier than the car. The chock had a rope on it so when he drove from the ramp he would grab the rope & drag it with him until he got to level ground, that was always good for a laugh or 2 !! I also saw boats come off the trailers before they got to the water, that cost big bucks in repairs ! I don't unhook until the motor is over/in the water.
Apparently the water tube is the problem, I have had the lower unit off & on 50 times & can't get it to line up, pian in my a$$ ! Its a 20" long copper tube with alot of slop in it. Can't hold it in place the last 2".
We use to take a case of beer & go down and sit by the launch on Memorial Day just to watch the first timers . Saw a car go into the water up to the windshield. The guy left the car in rev. Saw another guy with a cig. boat & matching truck all color matched yelling at the cute blonde he called a dumb bi%#h because the boat would not come off the trailer, he (mocho man) forgot to take the back tie down straps off ! We had a lot of laughs.
