Ill be up at Catfish Creek August 20-23 if anyone want to take a look.
First time I fished Lake O in 2002 we stayed for a whole week and only caught one big king but man was I addicted right from the start. A new boat and thousands of dollars later I'm still just as excited as back then, maybe even more now. Funny how that works. I do go to the ocean a lot and some smaller lakes around home but Lake O is by far my favorite place to fish.
I'm a week away from going and it's litereally all I can think about, well that and how much money a new motor just cost me
Please leave some in the bay for me for next week!
Has anyone stayed at the Catfish Creek camps? Opinions? Late August fishing? (salmon of course)
I'm looking to try a different port for late August and this place looks pretty decent.
Thanks!

Labor Day Weekend - Oak? or Fairhaven?
I ususally try and go for a week but this year with limited time this is the only period when I can make it. The big question is drive the extra two hours to the Oak or just go to Fairhaven? I went to the Oak two summers ago and thought the fishing was much better but that was in early August.....caught plenty of fish out of Fairhaven too so I'm torn.
Opinions appreciated.
