    I am in the red tan boat. We fish a lot and by now with all the time in we would think it would be better. Very discouraging especially for a six year old who is my first mate. Just love catching fish with him but it's tough to go hours without a bite. I have run flys. Spoons. Lead core and dipseys. Most of my luck has been at around 1.8 surface speed but I vary it if we don't get hits. You can't catch them sitting home just wondered if the cannon balls might be the issue.     I have been fishing the last couple weeks on canandaigua lake and it has been tough fishing. Only one fish a trip. Early this year the fishing was pretty good. We have been marking some fish they are just not hitting. Thrown the kitchen sink at them. Any thoughts to changing my cannon balls? I have 10 lbs torpedoes. One green one black.     I pull copper also. Been doing it on canandaigua lake since I was 8. It is an art form. My son calls it the secret weapon. I am 35 and plan on passing this tradition down. Great Lake 4 is one of my favorite.

    The outlet in Manchester shortsville is a great fishery. There are good smallmouth and stocked trout in the spring.     We went out again this morning and went 5 for 8. With a couple knock offs. All hits came on flasher fly. First time this year we have ran just ff. hits came in. 80 to 95 fow. First decent day this year. Hope they start Hutu g now. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Any news out there from anyone? I have been out with little success. Not marking many fish if at all. Fishing all depths and lures. The things is I do not see many guys fishing either.
