    Wow, hard to imagine how the home owners feel about that, sandbagged waterfront homes got hammered last weekend at cape Vincent, level is the same it was 9 days ago. They reworked the road out to Tibbets point light house, stones thrown into the road from high wave action last weekend .Sounds like a clown show managing water levels.     Cracking in corners of splashwell is an indicator of rot. Stand on the outboard and try to flex it. My water entered under the transom cap, removed wood and poured sea cast, also ran 2 3/8 rods through the motor mounting holes and the back seat panel, cap was then sealed with caulk.     Wondering myself when we see a significant drop, projected 6 to 7 inch drop for July seems like someone trying to placate the general public, no way we see that happen by end of July, just watch the daily chart, maybe 6 inches since first week of June.     Yes, people are boating, I hear shoals you would normally see are sitting silently just beneath the surface, some debris, not like it was early on. It's my first time up on the river this year, fished Chaumont bay, a few weeks back, not much luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    I've tried harnesses with plastic and had some luck. Guys are using spoons also on leadcore and boards. What was your picture like around cherry? I marked a lot of bait in the deepest zone to 70 ft there a few weeks ago but it changes daily. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
