We were out both Sat and Sunday. Early bite both days, Started at 100FOW and worked out to 400+. All but the 1st hit in 250+ FOW. 1st fish by 5:30 AM and nothing after about 12. didn't go back out to see if there was an evening bite. We were 6 for 8 on Sat. 1 sm steelie and the rest 7-8lb lake trout. All but one on the leadline, out 8 colors. Sunday, top line and riggers fired. Nothing on the leadline. All spoons. Sunday we were 5 for 6. 1 sm King and the rest Lakers. One of the Lakers was about 17 lb. Could have gotten on the board for Lake trout but hate to kill a fish I don't like to eat and isn't going to even stand a chance of winning a division. Heard ( and saw) that there were some nice 8-12lb browns to be found suspended in about 25 FOW.

We also had a good day Sunday. Mix of steelie, lakers and a king. 160-230FOW east of the chute. Black magic and wrecking ball our to best 2 spoons. all caught from 15-50 dn

did great late afternoon by West Nine mile point 3kings 10-13 lbs 3 brown 7-8lbs 15-18 FOW spoons and crankbaits. 3-5:30 PM let some small ones go

Bayside Marina in Fair Haven has 2 transient slips open. Under new ownership. They may rent one of the transients out for the rest of the season.

I have e mailed my senator in hopes of getting an answer to whether or not the legislatue was in session or not. I also e mail the govenour to encourage the signing of the bill.

Vetoed bills are returned to the house that first passed them, together with a statement of the reason for their disapproval. If a bill is sent to the Governor when the Legislature is out of session, the rules are a bit different. At such times, the Governor has 30 days in which to make a decision, and failure to act ("pocket veto") has the same effect as a veto The bill was sent to the Gov on 8/5. If the Legistaure is in session and I believe it is this should become law on 8/16

Sorry to report this stuff sucks. Bought it once ...won't buy it again. Within a 1/2 hour of being out it was dissolved. Happened 5x so I know it wasn't a swing and miss.

I recieved an e mail from Senator Libious thr other day. The bill passed the house and senate and is in the gov's offic for signing.

We got so Frustrate at the end of last week that we switched to 40lb with about 15 feet on 20lb leader. Worked great almost no fleas. Went 5 for 10 on Sunday. So it didn't affect the bite.
