    On any forum if you post a WTB item. 99% of the time a scammer is going contact you. They will say I have friend at this email that is selling the item your looking for. They may send you pics of the item and have a real low price on it. You have to be careful and like you did see how many previous post they have.

    The Bluetooth feature is nice on the lithium batteries. You can see how each cell is performing. Plus overall voltage drop and charging voltage too. I have one without BT and the other with. Next one I get I will get the BT again as long as it’s an option on what ever battery I get. The one with out BT does have a on/off button for 2 usb ports on the side. That’s also handy. These are the 2 I bought. If you are going to use them in line for 24 volt applications it’s best to buy 2 of the same make.

    They work well. Just need to install stop beads if you want to use the auto stop feature. I never used it. But it is functional. I just double checked before I removed them. Have batterie end plugs too. On one the switch cover tabs are cracked. It still works well. If you wanted you could buy a new switch over. It never bothered me so I didn’t buy one.     I bought a pair of these at Kittery couple years ago. They were under $30 each. They are nice and great for trolling small spoons on the riggers. If you want to go higher end lamiglass and tica makes nice rigger rods.

    If you go Lowrance do not go with the hook series. The Elite FS is a great unit otherwise spend the extra money on a HDS. Carbon and live are superb units. I would imagine the new pros are too but at a lot more cost. You can shop around and get a 9 live with all in one transducer for a decent price plus it has c- map preloaded. Myself I am hooked on touch screen units and Hummingbirds helix units are still behind in that not being touch screen. It’s what ever you feel most comfortable using they are all pretty close to doing the same job sonar wise.
