  1. Who took that great leading still of your boat? That's right... Great video, Lou. Can't wait for next season. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I shot a doe early in my hunting career that taught me to be more thorough checking vital signs. I dropped it where it was standing and our neighbor crossed the road to see what I'd gotten. After we had a 5 minute conversation next to the deer, I slung my shotgun over my shoulder, grabbed it by the hind legs and started dragging it to a better spot for dressing. Imagine my surprise when it kicked me in the butt and tried (unsuccessfully) to run away! Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Slower speed too, under 2.0 Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. That's a beauty, Rob. Hoping for the same when I'm back out on Friday. Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Slept in today but yesterday went well. Meat finally in the freezer after flubbing two opportunities with my bow...
  6. Nice shootin' Tex. Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I hunted a friend's family property in Dalton years ago & we had a pack of 7 dogs come through running deer. The owner told me to shoot on sight but I couldn't do it. For protection, sure, but not under those circumstances... Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Street address? We'll be right over...:ph34r::ph34r::huh: Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. That's great! Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Nice buck - I'm glad you recovered him, Rob. The only one I never found was my very first archery deer; the coyotes left bones and scraps of hide spread all over the area. Good work!
  11. I'm in. Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Good timing - I'm looking for the same information. One of my buddies is 6' 11" and with his Diamond maxed out, he still needs another couple inches of draw length. I asked last night at a local shop & they weren't sure they could help but suggested bringing him in to be measured so they could do some checking for him.
  13. Saw a fresh scrape & three rubs in Nunda this morning.
  14. I clipped an arrow to my string Sunday morning and the nock split on me. I'll be checking all my arrows before I go back out...
  15. I agree. I started coming here after seeing an article about the site in the local newspaper, stayed because most of the forums are so informative and eventually went Pro to support the site I continue to learn so much from. I've made new friends through LOU whose company I enjoy and who have taught me much of the hands-on knowledge I've acquired in the past three seasons. Probably wouldn't have happened if the Reports forum wasn't open.
  16. Yep, that point off Shipbuilder's Creek is good for fish pretty much all year.
  17. Anyone got one that's broken or they hate? I just want to remove the round glass that covers the LED array and use it to fix another unit - they don't offer ANY replacement parts! The model is the N8D but that glass piece is common to most of their cameras. Barring that, any idea where you can just buy a two inch diameter piece of glass (of a specific thickness) to drop in the hole?
  18. Much better than a day at work. I spent mine in the woods...
  19. This guy keeps making the camera rounds, same deer as my profile picture:
  20. Matt - you are definitely smarter than I look. Sent from my C5155 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. I've enjoyed reading your posts, John and regret I never got to make your acquaintance. Best of luck.
