  1. Looks like Fishtails had a 385ci last season - send him a PM. The Elite-4 is what carpedium was using when we fished with him but yeah, I'd be concerned about their disappearing support and poor customer service too. See what Fishtails says....
  2. Great deer! Saw a monster in velvet down that way a few years ago, heading for some pond fishing off Townsend Rd, just south of Watkins Glen State Park. Ran alongside my car for 75 yards while I fumbled for my camera...
  3. Nineteen days and counting. Make need to take a day off soon - Cough, cough...
  4. Go get 'em, Eugene!
  5. I told Jeff earlier this year that I was putting one on my "Someday" list. I've got a pair of the old Fenwick rigger sticks with spiral wraps and I like them.
  6. I saw posts last season that they were being caught around 9pm (I think) at night off lighted docks in I-Bay, in less than 5 feet of water. Don't think they've had the same results this season though.
  7. Ever hang a fish on the mailbox and then forget it?
  8. Mendon Ponds is always good for kids - panfish with some bass and pike.
  9. You may have ruined yourself for normal fish, Kurt.
  10. Green label, free shipping: http://calumetmarine.3dcartstores.com/W ... p_458.html
  11. Bizarre thunderstorm blew through Webster about 7:30pm, dumped more rain. One tough weekend is right - saw 10 to 13 footers forecast.
  12. I expect we'll see more of the same this weekend.
  13. Old post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27874&hilit=cure I've never tried it but might this year. Let us know how it turns out.
  14. Welcome aboard, Dan. Lots of good people here.
  15. Nice work! You'll get bitten and broken off occasionally but if they're bending a fly treble on you, you might want to lighten up on the drag a bit. It's there to protect your tackle and line - 'cuz those kings are pretty strong.
  16. As my grandfather would say, "That's the smell o' money, boy!"
  17. Each cowbell blessed by Saint Neot, the patron saint of fish!
  18. The yards have been good about contacting the city when someone shows up with City of Rochester manhole covers, copper railings and benches. What would they get for 450 feet of copper wire, $10 bucks? Recent article: http://www.democratandchronicle.com/app ... 2308280029
