    I've never seen someone target them here but fishhunter22 is right. I saw something on TV (maybe "River Monsters"?) that involved catching them with a rope fly and no hook - their teeth + rope fibers = fish velcro.

    We got chased off by lightning. Spent the morning on the deck with a cup of coffee, watching the storm blow through on the horizon.

    Certainly didn't miss anything in Sodus today. I think we got everything deployed 15 minutes before we saw the first flash of lightning - pulled the gear and ran for home. Looking forward to catching a few from Sandy again.

    No promises on the winter. There's a lot to do here if you keep your ears open and don't mind a little travelling. It's a good place to live.
