I've always liked 20 - 25 fow, off the mouth of Shipbuilder Creek, just east of I-Bay. All kinds of stuff come through there and it was a great spot for smallmouth, back in the day.
I agree - that would be handy for someone like me. The drawings are always perfectly distinct and the real fish, not so much. Just look at the disagreements over fish identification from photos posted here.
My fishing bud must have gotten the right cashier - he grabbed a pair and they rang him out at $50 each. Not sure what location but that was a week ago - maybe they fixed their pricing.
Yesterday, I went back to Victor and grabbed a Coleman 10x10 screen shelter - marked down to $80, then 50% off, then used a $10 off $50 coupon (added a Rage Cage). Think it was the last on the shelf though.
Thanks, Hank - so S5921 would PREVENT New York from using federal Wildlife Fund monies for unrelated purposes. I love how our license fees were just raised by 40% and now the state government wants to steal the federal funds (that we all contribute to) as well.
Dick's Sporting Goods in Victor has a Tite-Lok Triple Deck Mount with 3 - 5710' rod holders marked down to $50 - $139.99 marked down to $99.99 and then 50% off. I didn't see any in Webster. Grab 'em while they're hot!
Dumb question - when everyone mentions using fluoro leaders, you're talking about using fluorocarbon fishing line as the leader, not the specialized Fluoro leader used for fly fishing (which is apparently spun from gold, based on the cost), right?
