Well, got it done last night. This buck is over 200lb and 5 and a half year old (believe it or not) have pictures from last 4 years and his rack hasn't changed much other than gaining mass but his body is massive. Funny story. There is a field next to a heavy traveled road on my way to work that always has a bird or 2 in it daily. Been watching for the last few weeks as there has been different guys trying to hunt it. Some days I could see the guys setup on the edge and the birds strutting in the field. Last week or so, I have only been seeing the hens so I figured the were successful. Yesterday guys were there and again only hens. Then comes June 1st .... big boy was right in the middle in full strut!!! Made me giggle.
