  1. Sounds like a solid plan.. As a father of 2 young outdoor enthusiasts, I understand where your coming from but with my experiences it usually works out good for the kiddos! Good luck and try to relax and enjoy the time spent!! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Well, roosted another long beard last night but had to work at 7:00 this a.m.. thought I'd give it a quick hunt and see. Well, long story short, I got lucky again and made it to work a few minutes early. Sorry for lack of photos, was in a hurry..My wife and I had a good season and can't wait for next year!! Good luck to everyone else. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Minimal calling is always better. I like to get them fired up and then shut up. As long as they know where you are, they will find you!! If their hot, most of the time they can't take the silence and come looking.. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Havent been out since saturday but Roosted this guy last night and thought I'd go before work. His 1st gobble was at 5:00!! He was hammering in the tree, made 1 call and fired him up... busy next few weeks so after this 1 and my wife tagged out, I'm probably done. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. No joke ! Most of the time we are trolling with riggers. 8-10lb mono on 10-11' light rods. It's a blast, especially the big slobs that won't budge off bottom , haha . I'll dig up some pics. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I agree with most info here except the depth cutoff. I have had my best days much, much deeper.. I fish them off North East and they are deep all summer as well. I enjoy fishing them with light tackle and noodle rods. A much better battle and bringing them up slower has a much better survival rate. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
