  1. Yeahh Haw Cooter and Team! Keep up the Fine Fishing!
  2. I had similer issues on Cayuga before and put out an arsenal of deep diving yozuis that run 8-12ft down. This worked 3 times for me there. I wonder if the browns just move out a small amount or disperse on LK O.
  3. John, I will surely try this. Thanks for going the extra mile.
  4. Maybe they overloaded the factory spool.
  5. The fish have heard about the price of copper being up so high is all I can figure!
  6. Same thing happened to me on Keepshooting. com. on some SKS stripper clips.
  7. Great discussion but I am surprised someone hasn't chimed in on the importance of high quality bearings. Timken bearings teamed up with marine grade grease is a winning combo. I ran china, Yugo, and Japan bearings against Timken in my 2 boat trailers and the Timkens shine when it comes to corrosion resistance. This last year I had to pay double for the Timkens and wait to get them but I like the extra insurance. Lot's of replacement hubs come with china bearings in them.
  8. I've been working from a Monster spool of 30lb Andie Pink since 2002. I keep it in a ziplock bag inside a brown paper bag. Still feels good. I do like to buy leader line in the small pkges though.
  9. I was tying flouro leaders on last night and have always direct tyed my stickbaits. I even used loop knots for the non splitring stickbaits. Was wondering how many people still do well with small snap swivels. This sure would expedite bait changes!
  10. Always heed to what Holy Mac says. I have had several primer bulbs that I must point the arrow on the primer bulb toward the sky so that it will prime. Especially my Sea nymtho 19.5 GLS
  11. I can troll 13hrs on less than 3.5 gal with a Honda 7.5 from the 80s. Great Idea on the prop guard I didn't know about them. I just priced one at $129. That will have to be a fabbed one by me. I chopped up a wire this last year running solo!
  12. I received this today: Attention All Fellow New Yorkers, Yesterday I received this from one of my law enforcements contacts regarding an announcement from Governor Cuomos's Division of Criminal Justice Services. Governor Cuomo has dug his feet in and is now employing Gestapo like tactics to encourage NY citizens to report on their fellow NY citizens thru financial incentives that are derived from the taxes of New Yorkers. . The reward for "turning in" or "reporting" your neighbors for suspected "illegal" activity regarding the regulations put in-place by the recently enacted NY SAGE Act is $ 500.00 for each individual case. This is the State's way of enforcing the regulations that most, if not all, gun owners have publicly said they would not comply with. This is eerily reminiscent of 1934 Germany. How many brutal dictators can we all name who have taken similar measures of turning the people against one another in the past 100 years. gary Gary L Perry Turn Albany Upside Down Press Release: At a time when all of us are finding ourselves doing more with less, a reminder about a resource available from New York State that can assist you in your efforts to solve cases, prevent crime and better serve and protect your communities. The state has established a toll-free tip line – 1-855-GUNSNYS (1-855- 486-7697) to encourage residents to report illegal firearm possession. The tip line also allows for information to be submitted via text – individuals can text GUNTIP and their message to CRIMES (274637). While the state will provide the administrative support and fund the rewards, the investigation and validity of the tip will be up to each local department. To spread the word about this free resource, New York State is planning a comprehensive campaign, including public service announcements that will air on television and radio stations across Upstate. The tip line can provide your agencies with another avenue for receiving intelligence about crimes being committed in your jurisdictions. This initiative is designed for communities where no tip lines are in place and is not meant to replace existing gun tip lines. Here’s how the tip line operates: The New York State Police staff the tip line 24 hours a day. Upon receiving a call, troopers will solicit as much information as possible regarding a firearm tip, while allowing the individual to remain anonymous. The caller will be informed that this program is not the traditional gun buyback program but rather is focused on identifying individuals who are carrying an illegal firearm. The State Police will in turn contact the appropriate police agency with the lead to initiate an investigation. Staff from the Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) will follow up with that agency to determine the validity of the lead. Once the investigation is completed, the police agency would convey to DCJS the outcome of the investigation. If the information leads to an arrest for the illegal possession of a firearm, the anonymous “tipster†will be awarded $500. DCJS staff will handle all of the financial transactions. State Police staff will explain the program in its entirety upon notifying an agency that a lead has been generated for their jurisdiction. If you have any questions in the interim, please contact DCJS Deputy Commissioner Tony Perez in the Office of Public Safety at 518-485-7610. -- Janine Kava Director of Public Information New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (518) 457-8906 - work (518) 275-5508 - cell (518) 485-7715 - fax Find us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/nyspublicsafety

  14. MR. Clean, This came up on Youtube right after your pump up vid."Thanks" Listen to these surprise dock fishermen/woman! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA6K0s_nJCY
  15. If so is water deep enough for launching 19ft boats? Is the Channel open for perch fishing?
  16. My main engine is 2stroke 88hp that I mix oil in that tank. For my Honda 4stroke kicker I fabricated a bracket in the splash area to get the tank out of the boat. If you go 2 stroke kicker with an IO you may be able to use this concept.
  17. I just called Fair Haven State park and they said depending on which way the wind blows the ice chunks is what determines if you can launch at there site. Today it's open he said
  18. I have a controll king and it works nice. In actuality all they are is a servo checker that an rc guy would use to check servos on Remote controlled aircraft and cars. This is used to move the servo via a rheostat on the checker. Shielded wiring to go from the helm to the engine, and a RC servo, bracket, and linkage attached to the throttle linkage of the carb. They also have something to reduce 12volt boat power down to what servos can tolerate which I think is around 6volts I had a servo go bad up Fair haven this last summer and ran to Fulton to an RC shop and got a new one for $9.00. Grabbed a spare as well and through in the glove box. If some one wanted a winter project, They could probably build one for $50-$75.
  19. Make your cut 1in. outboard of the bilge opening on the starboard side and 3/4in outboard of the opening on the port side. If you want a full fuel cell access panel it will be 63 1/2in long. If you just want to cut a small hole to access the fuel cell outlet then the panel will be 10in long from leading edge of bilge hole forward to center of cross bar support. I hope this is understandable. Buck Use caution and set your depth of cut shy as you will be cutting center of stringers and center of cross bar so that your panel edge will be supported.
