  1. Nice Fish Rich. Skipper19: I'll have to give that Shock Top a try. My favorite beers in Germany were Weisen "Wheat" beers. That's the 3rd time I've seen friends promote it. You and twice on FB!
  2. That is a fine looking fish Len. Way to stay after them.
  3. I put wire on 4 reels at home with this Gizmotchy and they all performed well right out of the box. The spring is a Small Block Chevy valve spring. Use Ford and Mopar springs at your own risk!
  4. Very good data collection. If you worked where I do you'ld be promoted to VP!
  5. Thanks for the link on glow flashaboo from atomik. I will start putting that into my walleye bucktail jigs.

  10. Missed having you two there! Will always miss The Steamer ! Much of my fishing success and hunger to fish is from you two taking me fishing when I was a little varment!
  11. My friend is taking his father up for a week. All they have ever done is bullhead fish in the spring up there. They have small flat bottem boats with small outboards on them. I thought I'd ask and see if I can help them out with some ideas. I'm setting them up with lures to take from when I used to go up there. " Lg Mepps, Spinner baits, Buzz baits, Husky jerks, Lg buck tails. Where they can target Pike, Eyes, and SM Bass within a mile or so of goose bay would be appeciated or if there is a hot bay close to trailer to would be nice as well.Any hot Lures for this time of year too. Thanks in advance. Carl
  12. Ya I made a few calls on the radio for Shake n bake to share our hot spot . Sure hope everything came out OK! I'm done for the year most likely as I have to button up that Pole Barn I've been building all summer. Good luck when you get out there. Tank: Solo can be tough but that's when I experiment with un proven stuff. I always feel I have to run my proven "Go To" programs when I have quests on board. Ya want them to catch fish. Keep er up, be safe!
  13. They both appear to be able to handle the stress. Is the advantage of the Bert's that they automatically flip up/ ratchet toward you when you go to remove the rod at inital strike?
  14. That's some serious action! WTG

Experienced a beautiful setting sun and a rising Blue moon at the same time from way off shore. Caught my 1st Atlantic "Solo". Definately didn't want to go home. Best day was Sun with the 5 for 9 on a 1/2 day trip with my mate. Most of the dropped ones were faught for awhile. The 8 for 12 day was a solo 13.5 hour trip. That chartruse UV Big Weenie flyfly and chart NBK Prochip caught most Jackie This one had a snaggle tooth She's not afraid of no blood At the same time this was on one side of the boat This was on the other This Atlantic was beautiful One brown the whole trip BazookaJoe brought his own Twinkie cut bait rig and nailed our bigger fish of it. Then he drank my beer at camp. Thanks for the $20spot buddie. We had fun. 5 for 6 day 20 -24 lbers all in 115-135ft off the bottem Brown sugared Atlantic done on the grill at camp.
